Default Air fryer tips/recipes?

I know, I know: I'm late to the air fryer party lol!

I just bought DH an air fryer. (In our home, he's the chef. It works because he likes to cook...and I don't lol!) Anyway, any tips/tricks? We like fried food but I have read that an AF works on veggies? We get a weekly CSA share so it would be fun to have new ways to prep what we sometimes get.

But don't worry: I'm not only looking for healthy ideas. I've heard people have used their AF to make cheesecake. DH LOVES cheesecake, so any dessert tips would be welcome, too!

Sara, when I first got my airfryer I found this website HERE
and printed off the chart which I have found very useful.

I like making potato fries which only use a small amount of oil, yet they taste great.
I do a lot of heating up frozen cooked items ( like my own homemade chicken nuggets and fish fingers )
At a guess the airfryer gets used at the least 4 times a week.

Oh that's a great chart! Thank you, Anne-Marie!

I've got these 2 websites bookmarked and have found lots of easy recipes for me to use.

https://airfryerworld.com/

https://airfryereats.com/

I used it a lot during the summer since I don't have a grill and I love hamburgers. Hot dogs were another use during the summer. This winter I've been fixing pork chops in it at least once a week. What I like is that it is great for frozen foods like french fries and tater tots that would normally need to be deep fried. I've also used it for pizza rolls and frozen pancakes.

I don't like reheated pizza but I found take out pizza reheated in the air fryer is pretty good.

what i do for breakfast sometimes
1 egg + 25 gr oatmeal + 125 gr. Greek yoghurt
mix and add some honey if needed...

I put some fresh fruit in an oven dish - often blueberries and pieces of apple
Pour over the batter and place in the AF at 180°C for 12'

I know there is an app with the baking times ... I don't use it because on the website of AF.nl I found a long list with baking times ...

We love our air fryer - I do use it a lot for prepacked frozen things for the kids (chicken nuggets, fries, etc) but have made some awesome pork chops, meatballs, and chicken in it.

I love my air fryer!!! I have even made a roast in it!! You will LOVE IT!!

Our family favorite is chicken thighs. I lightly coat them with some olive oil, then I put teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, maple syrup, and garlic on them.

We use our air fryer all the time. It's especially good for warming up frozen stuff, but I have made all sorts of stuff in it. I could probably use it even more than I do for just cooking instead of warming up.

Ditto on the air fryer love! I often use mine as a quick way to cook broccoli and brussel sprouts. I just cut them up, give them a quick spray with coconut oil, and a bit of salt & pepper. The fryer gives them the perfect amount of char. DH loves to cook steaks and burgers. It's the one "gadget" that he uses more than me.

I adore my air fryer, but still have a lot to learn about is, so I will be checking out all the links here and keeping my eye on this thread.
