She won't be around much for a couple of days... she was in a bad car accident today and she's sore and has a couple injuries. She is okay for the most part and the girls were NOT with her. Her car.. not okay.

Just keep her in your thoughts please!!!

OMG, Laura! I was rear ended at a stop light about a year ago but it was only calculated at 10mph. It hurt like hell so I can't imagine what you feel like. I had to see a chiropractor for months. It was worth it though.

I hope you get plenty of rest and heal quickly. I am so glad that your mom is able to come and help! YEAH for mom!

jerks. makin' me cry

thank you EVERYBODY for the t&p's. i am indeed very sore and stiff this morning, but i'm relatively ok. i have a bit of whiplash, my left leg is sorta screwed up and i have a really pretty bruise across my chest from the seatbelt. my mom is coming to help me today (thank goodness she's close and can come help me) with the girls because, they don't know that anything happened. emma is VERY sensitive and still talks about a little fenderbender we got in when madelyn was just an infant. she does know my car got 'hurt,' but we didn't think she needed to know the details.

i had gotten off of work yesterday afternoon and was heading home. i was stopped at a stop light, when all of a sudden someone hit me from behind. i honestly have NO idea where this kid came from. he had to have been going 40 mph, easy. it wasn't raining, there was nothing out of the ordinary going on. he says he fell asleep...but i just don't know how true that is. the officer said in 8 years of being a cop he had never seen anyone hit so hard from behind. i hit the lady in front of me pretty hard (thank god her daughter was in the front seat, had she been in the back she probably would have gotten pretty hurt

), and there were no skid marks on the scene. we stopped at the tow lot last night to see if we could get a few things out of my car (there were closed) and the lady's back bumper was still attached to my front bumper. :/

i have quite a few people to call today. insurance companies, the er doctor released me from work next week so i need to call them, and to top it off, miss madelyn is allergic to her antibiotic (she's having her tonsils out friday). LOL yesterday was just the frosting on a big ooey, gooey cake last week.

Anyway, thank you all SO much for your thoughts and prayers.

OH Laura! My heart just sank and I have chills all over. I am sad that she was in the accident and grateful that she is okay and that Mads and Emma weren't with her!
