For me it's more of that I have things happening that week that I know I want documented, and I know I'll have my camera with me a lot that week.. so it is the easiest time to do it for me. We'll see what happens LOL

I've decided that I'm going to use Traci's templates but I'm going to use a different kit for every day... I have some kits in my unused folder that need to be used that I think will go perfectly with some of my photos. Normally, for these kinds of things I use just one kit... but decided to change things up a bit

I've decided to use some different kits too. I'm just looking at what we are wearing each day and finding a kit to match. Honestly, I'm not loving my pages, but I'm excited that I'm actually getting something done. If I can do double page spread a day then I'll be done by next Sunday. That might be a record for a project for me!

I'm trying to decide about adding two more pages to each day that talk about what's in the news, the weather, maybe let each kid tell a story? I dunno....I'm thinking it might be better to just get something done and then add to it if I feel like it.

Hope everyone else is working on their pages and will finish their project. I'm feeling thankful for templates that don't have too many photo spots. I see now too that I didn't get any shots in the evenings...next time!!!

I'm done with Tuesday's layout. I'm scrapping a spread per day, but doing it per page, not per spread. So I'm kinda worried they won't "match" up, you know? Ah well. I'm mixing up Traci's templates with her Slip ins and the 10080 Minutes kit + a bunch of other non-SSD stuff.

I was thinking of blogging about my layouts per day, and then using that as a springboard for random rambling. LOL. We'll see if I have some spare time.

I'm also doing it later. I did it for 4 days... but then my husband and boys decided to go camping for 3 days. So that blew apart my week. Although I'm happy that it got me to take a bunch of pics that I really wouldn't have thought to do before! There is nothing magical about doing this a certain week, so I'll just do this in August or wait until school starts to capture a typical school week instead!

Julie and Colleen - that is what is awesome about this project - you can do it anytime and it works.

I definitely have some lessons learned. I didn't not write down enough about our days to journal with. Nnow my kids are vacationing with my parents so hopefully they will remember a few more details when they get home.

I did really well taking pics in the morning but my during the day and evening pics stink. I felt shy about taking my camera out in public to take random pics even though I had it with me. I'm not sure how to get pics off my phone so I didn't want to use that either. Just need to figure this piece out for next time.

Doing this digitally means no adding of receipts, little notes, etc. I'm not big on scanning so I am searching for ways to add this info into my pages.

I've decided to add a page about each of us to the book that shows the best pic taken that week and some details about each of us. This part will be fun to compare next time I do the project.

YAY... I'm done!! I had a deadline of Aug 1 to use a coupon that I had through Shutterfly... and I made it. Ugh - I'm so sick of looking at this book, ha ha...

See my book here...

I still need to add all my pages to the WITL thread... wow, I just can't believe I finished the book - usually it takes me a bit, I mean - I'm still working on the P365 2010 book and December Daily 2009!

Love it Rebecca! I am still on Tuesday. LOL! I decided to go ahead and make mine 12x12 and scan in my momentos. Then order a photobook. It will last longer in this household that way.

I've searched through Ali's site for the SSD item and can't find it. Can anyone point me to it?

Thanks,
Angela

I just posted Tuesday's layout. I am hoping that the rest of the week is easier. I know I had the most photos the first couple of days.

I didn't journal as much as I wanted to. Maybe next time around I will go hybrid and have journal pages for each day.

Tuesday's pics are all layed out...I just can't figure out a kit so I'm moving on to Wednesday. Maybe there will be something new this week that will fit the bill.

change of plans... I've decided that instead of doing one day at a time, I'm going to get all my photos on the templates for the rest of the week and then I'll go back to them all and find kits to match them... for some reason I feel like it's going faster this way.

BAHAHAHAHA... I have over 200 pics on Thursday (wedding day), so PSE won't let me open them all at once.
