what did you think about The Watchmen?

Like it or hate it or in between? I missed a little of the beginning so Im going to rewatch it tomorrow but it was pretty good to me. Really interesting how they twisted history throughout the movie and went back and forth between time periods in the story (but also what made it hard for me to follow) So anyhow what did you think of it?

Hated it. It seemed to have too much violence for violence's sake.

It was a bit hard for me to follow because of the back & forth between time periods, but overall I liked it.
