Thumbs up hi everyone!

Feels like I haven't been here forever. I had a crazy busy work week, plus with Mckenna starting school this week, I ran myself around with her to the park, zoo, Chuck E Cheese, etc. Phew! But tonight DH and I are doing a rare night out to dinner and a movie while SIL babysits the kids!

We were looking at movie trailers last night, I can't make up my mind what to see. Did anyone watch the new releases yet? I'm for action or comedy, but I'm also really drawn to Mirrors (love horror flicks!). Anyone see

Pineapple Express or Tropic Thunder

Batman or The Mummy?

Whooo, Sam, congrats on getting a night out!

Just saw both Tropic Thunder and Batman this week. Loved them both and it'll really depend on what you're in the mood for. Tropic Thunder is definitely not for everyone. I have a rather twisted, dark sense of humour, and it was right up my alley. It'll definitely offend plenty of people though. Me, I LMAO and I'll definitely be seeing it again, but your mileage may vary.

Batman is just outstanding. Heath Ledger blew me away. It was so sad watching and knowing we will never see him in anything again. It's a really dark movie, and quite long, so it's probably best to be in the mood for something like that, but I absolutely loved this movie and if you're a fan you don't want to miss this one in the theatre.

Lots of my friends have seen Pineapple Express and said it's hilarious. I was hoping to catch that one this weekend.

Hey Becca! I tried to catch you at the chat last night but I think I was too late (it was around 10:30 PST). I know what you mean, we rarely go to movies unless it's a kid's movie then I can go with one of them! LOL

Hey Joan!!! I should probably watch something to make me laugh because of the tough week. The Tropic Thunder preview looked hilarious - we probably have the same taste - racial and just wrong and in every way. LOL Like Lisa Lampanelli?

DH and I are off to dinner and a movie tonight too! We are going to see Mirrors, I hope it's good. To tell you the truth I'm just happy to go somewhere without the boys, we certainly don't do it enough!

Batman was absolutely amazing! I saw it a few weeks ago and want to see it again really badly. Heath Ledger was absolutely brilliant in this movie!
