Well, I don't know that I'd consider it "fun" per se, but DD and I will be selling Girl Scout cookies at Wal-Mart from noon-3:30 today. 'Tis that time of year!

I just woke up I love that dh takes care of the girls in the mornings on the weekends so I don't have to get up so early with them. No major plans for today... We're going to put up the shelves in the girls' closet today, and I have to make some instruments with them for music class (lol, drum, maracas, or sand blocks). Other than that, I'm going to squeeze in some cleaning and scrapping hopefully.

Sorry, nothing exciting. Just did a little cleaning, now the kids are watching a video so I'm hoping to get an hour of scrapping in. Later we'll be home playing with the kids and doing laundry while my oldest has a friend over. It's DH's night to make dinner (I finally insisted he take a night on the weekend), then he'll put the kids to bed while I go grocery shopping. Sadly, that's what passes for excitement--grocery shopping with no children.

Last week was just crazy and next week will be even crazier. So yesterday, we did some serious basement cleaning / house declutering and organizing and about 20 loads of laundry because the house is going on the market. Today, DH is working and I have a bad headache, so we are just chilling, the kids playing video games and chess and I'm on the computer, scrapping. Tonight is our weekly radio bingo night with family (yes it is as lame as it sounds, but we get a kick out of it and good laughs too) but we will miss it since DH has to work late.

We ran all our errands yesterday so DH can veg at home this afternoon and watch the race. It's amazing how much of a race fan he's become all because of fantasy racing! LOL

Fell and fractured my leg yesterday, so I'm sitting like a lump feeling completely useless. The only time I can get up and move (I.e. go to the bathroom, change positions) is when I've got a fresh dose of pain pills in me. They prescribed Vicodin but it's not really helping so I switched to some Darvocet I had on hand.

Cheyanne had a game at 9:00 this morning (and 3 games yesterday) and has a semi-final game at 2:30 this afternoon. If they win that one they plan the championship game at 5 tonight. Around here it's basketball fever this time of year!

let's see I went grocery shopping this morning. Then when I got home we cleaned for a bit. Then we all took a trip to Lowe's to pick up a new kitchen faucet and filtering system! I played with the kids down stairs as hubby installed that. Then we ate lunch and put the littlest one down for a nap. I washed some bedding and helped hubby clean the office. Then hubby talked the girls through making dinner...they did it all by them selves!!! (carrots, baby red potatoes and two roasting chickens all int he roaster). Then we all took turns playing Fruit Ninja on the Kinect!! We are all whooped so we are chilling now till we eat dinner in about 20 minutes....me ont he computer...girls downstairs...hubby and oldest DS watching TV and the 2 littlest ones playing play doh at the kitchen table!!

DH worked 5am - 1pm today, got home, ate lunch and pretty much went to bed so he can work tonight. He typically works midnights but every now and then they have him pull an extra shift on Sunday. The OT pay is nice but it sure eats in to my day since he's gone with the van half the day and its just me and the kids most of the day.

I have one kid with a fever and both of them can't stop coughing. I'm wondering how tomorrow will play out now. DD has an orthodontic appointment and I have a dental appointment at the same time and now I'm thinking I may have to postpone both so I can stay home and take care of her. I guess we'll see how the morning plays out.

I have been deep cleaning my kitchen today. Its amazing how much junk ends up where it shouldn't be. I have kind of an awkward place in my kitchen that we filled with a tall bookshelf. The bookshelf holds my recipe books, the plastic containers for cereal, pretty much all of the small appliances, etc. It becomes a catch all though for everything that doesn't really have a home. Today I decided to tackle it and a few drawers and cupboards that were getting bad.

Technically it's already Monday, and I know you were asking about Sunday, but here's what I'm doing today...

I'M GOING TO A TROPICAL ISLAND ALL BY MYSELF! I mean, I'm going for a workshop, so I won't be alone, but I will have no one to care for but myself for SIX DAYS!! And the workshop is at a hotel on the ocean, and Chili's is just down the street. I'm almost giddy with excitement! Can you tell by all the exclamation marks, lol?

Well I spent yesterday painting the main wall in our dining room so in addition to being sore, haha, I've spent the majority of today admiring my handiwork. It may just be my favorite paint color ever.

I also hung up some frames in our office and now I'm going to work on getting stuff ready for tomorrow - do a little cleaning, update the budget, you know, fun stuff, haha. And then maybe a little scrapbooking.

Ooooh, pictures??? lol, I love seeing pics of people's house paint! I know, sounds kinda lame, but I'm boring and paited mine light grey (which awesomely makes it look way bigger and brighter). I always wish I was bold enough to paint a 'real' color lol, other than basic grey, white or cream - but then I'd be forced to make everything match, and I'm really bad at that. As a kid I always wanted a pink bedroom, so I painted my girls' room pink and my mom picked a nice yellow for my kitchen because I couldn't decide, but that's as adventurous as I get really.

We got hit by a nice winter storm today, but I still had to go to work. Luckily, it wasn't bad enough for me to have to hitch a ride from someone with 4 wheel drive. I totally took it as an excuse to be lazy at work though. I did a little work and spent the rest of the day talking, watching a movie and reading. Now that its after work, we have no plans, just be lazy.
