No, not really. On the flip side, I feel like I have to explain to him that I'm not ALWAYS on the laptop because it seems like that's always what I'm doing when he comes in the door. But I make sure the house is shaped up and laundry is going before I sit down to scrap so he doesn't ever realize that there are things that are lagging. He really has mostly positive comments on my scrapping - has bragged to his mom about the cool things I can do (see how little he knows? ) and asks me how my SR points are coming for the month. And now that I've informed him about CT's he's been asking me when I'm going to start doing that too. (I wish )

Sometimes...

I started scrapbooking (paper) when during our first football season when I became a football widow.

I'm getting better about balancing my time though.

LOL! I think this is us, too. But he's always watching tv, and I have no desire to sit through every sporting event or whatever else is on. For a while DH had his own laptop, so we spent a lot of time together in the family room (him gaming and surfing while I scrapped) and it was nice. But that old laptop died, so he's back to hanging out in the basement with his big screen tv. In theory I could take my laptop down and join him, but him watching tv while I'm on the computer doesn't seem to be the same quality of together time as if we're both on computers.

To the question...yes, there are many times hubby yells at me for being on here! But he sure does play his XBOX very often and I don't complain??!!

Not usually. He's a big online gamer so he's usually stuck in front of a computer screen as well. And, we share our office so, quite a bit of the time, we're doing our thing right next to each other so we can chat occasionally!

Yes, but only because his laptop is still broken and he's too lazy to go fix it. But since I do the majority of my scrapping at night when he is sleeping and then I sleep during the day while Lukas is at school and he can play then we are running into less problems. I don't watch tv but he cannot be in a room without it being on usually sports of some kind, and he plays his playstation. My biggest problem is that now I am fighting with both him and Lukas because they both want to play and I want to do CT work and stuff. It sucks sometimes but we gotta have something to argue about or there wouldn't be anything to make up about *snigger*. Hugs Crystal xxx

Totally supports it because my creative outlet used to be writing and since I'm not doing that anymore, he's happy I get to scrap. Plus he has his own lappie so I get the desktop to myself while he works/plays PC games in the bedroom. He's still close enough that we can chat, but if he has the door closed we just IM each other, lol I suppose as long as I vacuum and get the dirty dishes out of the way first, I'm good

Mine told me he wishes he were a laptop so I can pay more attention to him. LOL But really, he supports my scrapping time and considers it therapy. I it!

Sometimes he does, but it depends. Since I got the laptop, it's less. He gets home and I'm on it so he was getting cranky, because he assumed that I walk in the door and get on it but then one night he was home early, he figured out that I come in, change clothes, feed the kids, do dishes/laundry, clean up the kitchen, etc etc etc before I sit down and get online. Since then, he's shut up a little bit. LOL

Mine is far more likely to be on the computer in the evenings than I am, so he can't say anything to me about my computer time. He opens his laptop and sits in his chair as soon as the kids are in bed. He watches TV and reads political blogs at the same time, while I read or crochet. I turn my computer off at 6 most days before he even comes home.

I bought a laptop so i can bring it out to where he is. He just got himself a new laptop too, so if he's home (he's working out of state right now), we'll both put them up at the kitchen table. It's kind of nice. I'm busy doing something I like, but can sit and visit with him!!

Not at all. But what I do also brings in money so he can't exactly tell me to get my butt off the computer. I do try to get all my household duties done before he gets home so that I can sit with him on the couch in the evenings and work from there.

I am very lucky in how supportive and involved he is. He will ask me how my online friends are doing and even calls some of you by name. He also likes to read over my shoulder when I am browsing forums and has even sat in on a chat here! LOL!

My DH is always working on his computer at night. He's a professor, so he spends his time getting ready for his class the next day or catching up on e-mails. So, I'm free to scrap or whatever. Some nights, we will watch a movie or show together or I'll scrap out there on my laptop. I do think it's important to spend some at least in the same room during the week!

I'm really lucky too! Dh never complains...even if I slack on the house work. But I am happy to say I caught up on that over the weekend, so I feel less guilty. He is awesome about it. I think he is glad I have a hobby!
