Default Reason #507

that my hubby needs to be home....

*to catch little green lizards that make their way into my kitchen and scamper across the floor with me shrieking and trying to catch it without actually touching it.

He needs to come home!

Awe Nikki, I'm sorry hon. I can totally get that. I doubt I'd care to get hold of it either . He needs to be home, period, anyway.
I guess I don't get why one would stomp a poor little lizard ,lol . Maybe it's because I'm a country girl. I wouldn't want it in my house by any means, lol. But I'd sure find a less violent method, lol.

no i didn't want to stomp it...i'm a country girl too lol...thus that's why it's about the 10th lizard this summer that has found it's way into my house b/c we live out in the woods...it's just one of those little green ones that are harmless, but I don't particularly want to hold it kwim? I ended up cornering it and using some kitchen tongs to grab it lol..DS thought it was hilarious. It's just that with this big ole belly it wasn't that easy trying to catch it lol

Oh Im ok with the lizards it snakes I hate. Last year we had three different snakes in the house on three seperate occasions!!!

You would have loved to be around my son when he was little. He would take those huge gallon sized pickle jars outside and fill it with lizards. One time he let them all go in the house and we had to re-catch them LOL. There were 25 lizards running around our house!! We also get tree frogs in the house. They come in when we open the door at night and they are on the side of the house or they come in through an open window...needless to say they come in. One night I was sound asleep and a tree frog that was about two-three inches long jumped onto my forehead. OMGoshhhh I have never jumped so high or screamed so loud!! Glad you got him outta there but just remember lizrds arent so bad. They eat any bugs that might get into the house

Ick! I would freak out too. I would probably catch it in a jar or something and set it free outside. I think my SO is more scared of bugs etc than me.

Lizards I can handle. Little snakes, I can handle. Spiders... no way in hell. Ugh.

I am so glad we moved away from FL. I HATE lizards and snakes and all the creepy crawly bugs and creatures you find there. Although, I do hate the spiders and mice you find in Utah!

ROFL

Now my daughter is teasing me that the lizard's spirit is gonna haunt our house! They are never gonna let me forget it!!

And nonoadkill lizards don't creep me out like bugs, but I won't touch them. Thankfully, I've got 2 kids who have no issues with that and handle all of our lizard invasion problems.
