Default Printing problem

So I just created a 12x12 layout and resized it because I am going to put it on a 6x6 tile. So I printed it off with my printer. The photos in the layout have faint stripes across them? The rest looks just fine but why is there stripes on my pictures. What did I do wrong? I haven't printed anything in forever and don't know if I did something wrong or if it is my printer.

It seems odd that it would be a printer problem if it is just the photo and not the rest of the layout. I can't think of what would cause the photo to have lines and the rest of it to be fine though. If I was talking to someone who wasn't a scrapper and wasn't aware of things like resolution I'd ask them to check the resolution of their photos as my first thought. You would obviously be more than aware of photo resolution so I can't see that being the problem. Hmm...

That is odd...try and clean your printer heads and see if that does not resolve the problem?

I'd try and clean your print heads first to see if that is the problem.

I know it is just weird that it is just on the pictures. I have used the same pics on a layout and had them printed at Persnickety and everything was fine. I will try to clean the heads and see what happens.

I think you just need to clean the print heads.

I always have lines if I forget to set the quality level high enough. Make sure you have it on photo quality is my only suggestion.

I'd vote for printer heads needing cleaning, too. If a color that's used more in the photos than the rest of the LO is partially clogged, it might account for seeing the lines only in the photo part.
