I need an intervention...
Dude, I'm NOT even joking!
Okay, so i'm not fit for Celebrity Rehab... i don't do drugs, i don't drink, i don't smoke (exciting huh?!) My drug of choice..... s u g a r i'm 100% addicted and when trying to avoid it, i feel like a junkie in need of a hit, i SWEAR! is there such a thing as a sugar support group!?!? someone pass the straight jacket.... ox |

sugar is sooo addictive-- I had to cut it out of my daily (excessive) diet myself a year? or so ago.. like.. It's bad.. I can't even tell you. sugar is eviiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiil eeeeevil. now of course, I'm so deprived that I tend to tweak out a lil hahaha.. I'm not good at balancing. I'm all or nothing ^_^

Sugar I don't have to have, but man, deny me my daily diet pepsi and well, let's just say things could get ugly, very, very ugly. I wonder if I can get a diet pepsi on an IV drip????? LOL!!

Me too!!! and if I'm not actively trying to lose weight then I have no will power...I want home made yummy cakes and pies and cookies and brownies...and if there is no chocolate in the house I can get scary...

i just .. stopped lmao. I'm incredibly stubborn i noticed ce was developing my bad habits too so i think that was the big motivator

It's chocolate in any form for me. Pure chocolate is the hardest to resist, so I keep it out of the house. If it's here, I will devour it way faster than I should. But if I try to cut out all forms of chocolate, life with me gets very unpleasant. I used to get my daily fix from a small serving of chocolate ice cream, but it's getting harder to stop after my 1/2 cup.

I'm right there with you. Heaven help the man, or child, that gets between me and my sugar! Thats why I have to follow a low carb diet to have any chance of losing weight cuz I just can't eat it in moderation! I need a 12 step program.

I stopped with sugar twice, once for a year and once for about 6 months, for health reasons (but not to lose weight). The first 3 weeks are difficult, you get nasty cravings, but after that it stops. Actually, when I re-introduced it, I found some things intolerably sweet, and I still do so.

I go through spells where I just crave sugar and sweets, but honestly try and take my pasta away and I'll cut you!

I usually have small, naughty sweet snacks about for DH & son, and try to buy the stuff I don't like deliberately so I don't eat the lot myself. But I regularly test my will power, and alas fail miserably. For example, it was Pancake Day this week (aka Shrove Tuesday), and I rashly bought a jar of Nutella thinking I would resist.... I've just about eaten the LOT.
Diet pepsi just about runs in my veins - I couldn't do a day without it, either |

I can go without chocolate, chips...but I'm one cranky mumma if I don't have an iced coffee which is practically all sugar and caffeine!!!! Actually its no wonder I'm cranky if i don't get it lol!

I am with Nikki... I LOVE cakes and cookies and yummy baked goods. I have been trying to eat healthy, but this is my weakness too. Honestly tho, you have to give yourself a little break, because what fun is food that doesn't taste yummy?!?

I'm off sugar and have been since the first of the year...I try to stay under 15 grams of sugar a day...which is hardly anything. I can have really dark chocolate though (85% or higher) and I have a few squares of it and a few raw almonds...and it makes me happy!
