The dreaded c word
Cancer
My three year old was diagnosed with cancer on Thursday. They found a mass in his pelvic area and one near his spine. They had to do emergency surgery on the spine on yesterday because it was compressing his spinal cord. He pulled through well and seems to be returning to his normal self. We have to wait at least 72 hours for the lab to run the necessary tests and find out what kind it is. Once they figure that out they will outline a treatment plan. There is nothing in the world worse than cancer- especially when it hurts such an innocent little guy. I will praying for him and your family.

Sending prayers for you guys! My daughter was diagonised with cancer when she was 4 & then it came back when she was 6. We are 11 months out from her finishing treatment for the second time! Its a rough road, but staying positive helps. If you need someone to talk to, please let me know.

Such a scary thing. It makes my heart sink anytime I hear of a little one being diagnosed. We had a scare with my middle son at about 21 months but they never did figure out what was wrong ith him. Just swollen lymph nodes. I will say a prayer for healing for your son and for guidance for you and your family as you care for your son.
