Default Obsessed with Gilmore Girls

OMG, guys, after all the hype on Facebook, I decided to start binging on Gilmore Girls, and I'm in love!

I blame being in Japan in 2000 it came out for why I missed out on this awesome show! I didn't get back to the states until 2003, and never got into it.

I love Luke, kind of obsessed with him. I'm about half way through season 6 and I've done practically nothing since I started watching it, except scrapbook and dream of Luke, LOL!

Yeah, I'm ready to get through it and season 7 to see what happens in the new ones. Seems like a lot off dragging it out.

I love GG too! I re-watch a few episodes a week (I've seen the whole series at least two or three times now). My husband doesn't understand why I keep watching reruns lol.

This is the first show I've been this hooked on since I discovered Veronica Mars and Once Upon a Time. Luke is the first fella I've let be a screensaver on my since since I fell for Hook, LOL!

I'll warn you that late season 6 and the first half of season 7 are hard to watch. I'm not much of a TV person, but Gilmore Girls is the one series I've been a crazy fangirl for since it first aired. I'd given up hope of ever getting the movie (which people have been talking about since the show ended) and then they announced the revival. 💞 I watched every episode multiple times when GG first aired, rewatched it all a year or two after it ended, and then watched again before the revival. I love Lorelai and Luke.

I tried watching it with my daughter, but found that I couldn't get in to it the way I did when it first aired. I watched the 4 new epsiodes and enjoyed those despite being a little disappointed. I wish there were more though. The end left me wanting more.

I loved it a lot, but since I watched the revival I am just sort of meh about it. My kids love it. They were deeply invested in Lorelai (sp?) and Luke's relationship. I hate that I had to tell them they couldn't watch the revival.

I watched some of the first few episodes when it originally aired, but stopped. Something about the show didn't feel right. When they put it on Netflix, I decided to watch it and it was okay, except some lines had me going "Did they really just say that? Who wrote this?" So, I watched the newer episodes when they came out, but I wish they had done a little more...actually helped the characters grow instead of it seeming like they were still the same.

i binge watched the original series on netflix and enjoyed most of it... but don't think i made it past season 5. i grew to have major issues with Rory... especially after her affair with [married] Dean :/ i tried to watch the reboot this fall, but never could finish the first episode.

I'm not a Rory fan really, her voice bugs me, and I hated that too. Mid of season 6, it gets kind of slow, I'm not loving it as much at the moment, but I want to get to the new episodes. I've cheated & googled what happens this season.

Still loving Luke, even if he's an idiot right now.

I fully admit that I really honestly cannot stand Rory. I think she is spoiled and kind of awful. haha! Everyone acts like she is perfect and does no wrong but she's kind of super lame IMO.

Same. I get she's smart but she KNOWS she smart and she acts like she can do no wrong. This whole Dean thing is making me mad. (I'm now in Season 5, so we'll see. Ha!)

With you on Rory. Lorelai was always my favorite, but I liked early Rory a lot. By the end of the series she'd changed so much that I had almost no interest in her storylines.

Finished!

I've been watching everything Luke & Lorelai.

I enjoyed the new ones, I would have cut some stuff out, but I liked how the ended it. I didn't find Luke as attractive in the new ones, but then again, he's pushing 60 now, LOL! And he was closer to my actual age when it started.

I think I'll watch them again, ad that's a sign of a good 1 hour show, because I rarely will watch those more than once.
