Font size question

Thought I'd seen this somewhere, but can't find...so I apologize if ya'll have answered this 10 times.......

What is generally the smallest font size I should use if creating a layout at 12x12 but printing at 8x8? I love that Persnickety Prints will let you upload as 12x12, and then print at different sizes...but I'm not sure how small I can go and it still be readable on an 8x8 or 6x6???

It will depend on the font because readability varies between the style, and the original size it was created at.

So, resize your 12x12 to an 8x8 and have it at 25% on your screen. This will be what you see when it's printed. If you can read it there, the print out will be fine.
