Default Yikes

I have not picked up my DSLR since Marcus' christmas show for school last year and I'm not sure I even took a pic with it actually All my pics now days are with my phone and I'm annoyed with myself for that.

Do your phone pics scrap well? With school starting and my husband being gone for awhile, I might pick scrapping back up. I had to let it go for a bit, as I always tend to do after I pick it up and burn myself out, but I might be back here and there now, maybe?

All of my photos are from my phone as I don't have a proper camera anymore.
I suck at printing so I'm not sure how well they come out but all the photos I get printed are ok so I'm sure the scrapbook pages would be fine too

I almost exclusively use my phone. I have my phone's camera set to take the highest quality, and they print and scrap great. Welcome back!

I don't have a camera anymore just an iPhone X. It works out all right for me. They're not the best photos in the world but that has to do with operator error/lack of skill not the iPhone.

Do they not take .jpegs any more? I thought that I read where it's some weird format.

Oh back to your question--I scrap with both, phone and camera. Depends on the camera on your phone, but I'd see why it wouldn't scrap well on a layout

I use my phone (iphone7) exclusive for photos... I don't think I even remember where the chargers are for the G12 or Dslr. I should really sell them, but maybe someday Jake will take an interest in taking photos and be a good starter camera for him.

Welcome back!! I can't wait to see your LOs again, Adi!!
I only use my phone for photos. I've never used a DSLR. Before my phone, I used a point & shoot. I did a lot of research when I bought my phone. At the time, the Google Pixel XL (The first one) was the best for photos. That's really all I cared about. It's about time to replace it, so I'm back to the research table again.

I have a DSLR that I use but I also use my phone camera all the time. I had an iPhone before and now the new samsung and both are equally great for photos. I think any of the new phones are good now. I wouldn't blow them up to print big size but for scrapping a 12x12 page with them....they turn out just fine.

Welcome back(ish) Adi! I smiled when I saw it was you who commented on my gallery page! And for the question, I pretty much only use my iPhone for pictures. My DSLR is heavy and cumbersome but my phone goes everywhere with me. I've been pleased with the photos my phone takes especially the portrait effect and they print very well!

Ah that makes me feel better! I got a new phone recently (iPhone XR I think) and it takes decent pics so I was hopeful. I’m glad to see other people having good quality pics from their phone!

I dislike my phone pics, but they work ok if I don't have anything else with me. Thankfully, we have a 5 other cell phones in our family so if mine don't turn out, hopefully someone else got a better photo!

I LOVE my daughter's DSLR! It takes much better photos and has a better zoom. It's also really good in low lighting and the settings can be changed so much better to fit the photo!

We are brining them all on our trip in a few months, plus hopefully a Go-Pro for underwater photos and videos.

Just a smidge.....Now I'm aiming for page #1. My goal was 13,000 by years end, but this move has kicked my toosh. Now I'm settling for 11,000 by years end, which will/should get me on that first page of comments!!

I like my dslr photos best, but take tons on my phone, so I scrap them. And now with college kids away most of the year, they send me phone pics and I scrap them as well.

Portrait mode is amazing! I've got the BEST photos with that.

My iPhone is all I ever use anymore either. I can't remember the last time I pulled out my good camera.

Iphone X/XS save photos in HEIC format, which is high efficiency sonethingoranother. It takes up half the space of a jpg As i recently found out, PS/PSE dont support HEIC format yet but there is a setting to save photos as jpgs

Thanks, Cindi! Tech is a lot to keep up with. I just found out by accident that Verizon isn't going to support my iPhone 5 once they get all their new towers. Ugh!
