Help: Sizing for Gift Certificates

I want to make my 6 year old some reward gift certificates but I have no idea what size to use to make them print off properly on standard size printer paper.

Has anyone ever done this or does anyone at least comprehend sizes better than I do and can steer me in the right direction? And, if anyone knows of a kit that does this kind of thing that would be way awesome.
