Pringle cans I'm totally serious...that's how I ship cookies to DH when he's deployed. You can just wrap it up in brown shipping paper and ship them just like that

LOL Hey, I have to milk this whole pregnancy thing while I can. Soon enough, I'll just be another sleep-deprived mom to a newborn. LOL

Pringle cans! I make a roll of cookies, wrap it in wax paper, and slide it into the can with an extra piece at top and bottom for padding. Then put them inside a box with a bit of bubble wrap. It's how I ship cookies to DH when he is deployed

I agree with the pringles can! I also so on Pinterest (not sure if I pinned it) but you can use the "boxes" from aluminum foil, wax paper, saran wrap, parchment paper ect....

No, but I only get e plain pringles, and I air the cans out before I use them and wipe them down with a damp paper towel to make sure all the crumbs are gone

I use Pringle cans, too. Once they're cleaned out, they don't hold the smell of the chips. And they're cheap, too, so even if you don't like the chips, it's worth the cost. I adhere a nice patterned paper to the outside label and decorate it all nice-like, too.

good question la!

see - i'm not a planner. so i would either need to go to the store and get said pringles can to ship out pringles later that week, leaving me with either - stuffing my face with chips or feeding the girls chips for dinner. lol. and nothing but chips.

that brings me to another question i'll post.

You can grind them up and coat chicken pieces in an egg mix then the pringle crumbs and bake them. That would make awesome chicken fingers. Or sprinkle the crumbs on a casserole. Use them like you would use bread crumbs. In an airtight container, I imagine they wiould keep for a couple of weeks/months.

Is it sad that when I saw the title "Shipping cookies," I thought, "Why would you need to ship a cookie? It's just a download- send them the link!" I was thinking about SSD cookies- templates- rather than actual cookies. Lol.

Instead of pringle tubes, you could get mailing tubes from Office Depot. They have a few sizes. I'd probably take each 6-8 or so and roll them up in saran wrap first, then put in the tube. Those mailing tubes are pretty sturdy, but I'd write fragile on it anyway.

However, when my dad was in the military, my mom and I sent him cookies in regular boxes. Just used popcorn (in sandwich baggies) to cushion the cookies.
