Default yay family is gone!

I love them - I really do.

But we've had company for two weeks straight (mine, then hubby's)! Today the last group just left and the house is blissfully quiet. Guess where I am? watching netflix and scrapping, of course! the next 36 hrs are all mine...after that back to work!

I understand exactly how you feel, Beckie! We had my uncle's family here for 5 days in December - they were not even spending the nights at our home, but when it's done, I was sooooo relieved!

Lol, this is so me, too! The best part of family visits is when they leave! I mean, I love them and I love spending time with them, but I love getting my life back when it's all over!

I sat for 5 hours yesterday and binge-watched forensic files and scrapped 3 layouts. it was awesome!

I'm so glad you enjoyed your time to yourself!!
I love having out-of-town company, but it is nice when they leave and things go back to "normal"!!

I know how you feel! Not that we've had people over for continuous weeks, but from october through december it seems like one get together after another after another.... I get so happy when January hits and I know for the next two months we can just chill without always being on the go or in 'entertaining' mode.

yay for having everything back to normal!! Company is great, but it can get tiresome, especially when you can't get your normal downtime while you have visitors.

Enjoy your scrapping and netflix bing-watching!

Enjoy your scrapping time. Two weeks is a LONG time to have company! I don't think I could handle company that long!

Alone time is great! I always cry when our family leaves, but they all live halfway across the country and we don't see them very often so it makes me sad. There is definitely comfort in getting back to a normal routine though!
