Default Meghan... how many kids do you have?

Do you have 4 and are expecting number 5? I'm trying to figure this out. And when exactly are you due?

Yes, I'm just being nosy. Ignore me if you want.

How old are you? You look so young to me.

Okay that's all... for now.

That stinks! Had you been having contractions before?

I know that this time around, I had contractions for weeks. So, the night I went into labor, I didn't think anything of the contractions I had until I was already in transition. Walk your stairs alot. Maybe that will help!

Meg you made a wonderful home in there for her the past 9/10 months. I don't blame her for not wanting to come out

Oh man, I knew you were due soon but wasn't sure when.

When did your other kids come???

I hope to have 5 kids some day... that's my goal, but I don't know if I'll make it.

I'm sorry she's not wanting to come. My first was 10 days early, my second 15 1/2 days early, so I can't relate. But I can feel bad for you! Do you have big babies? Mine would be huge at my due date.

Oh and thanks for letting me be nosy. (completely unrelated, I just checked the spelling on nosy and it can be spelled nosy or nosey--just thought you all would like to know that)

I thought Ian (my two month old) would be huge, too, as he was born the day after his due date, but he was 6 lb and 15 oz. My two year old was 2 weeks early, and she was 7 lb and 1 oz.

That is fascinating! Especially because it was a boy and I thought boys were generally bigger! My baby that was 2 weeks early was 8 lbs. And I'm only 5'1" 100lbs over here... eeks!

oh gosh Meg, my DS was born 10 days early and DD was induced a day after her due date. I remember BEGGING my OB to induce me at 38weeks with DD It was NSD weekend though (she was born May 9th). and I remember I was up all night scrapping and chatting with all the happenings. So when I went in for induction, I slept until I cant bear the contractions, hahaha.

I wanted five kids, too, until i had ummm ONE, and then we were like, WOAH, we can NOT risk having another one like this! Even though #2 is close to perfect, the risk is too great; one Jack is all this family can handle.

You gals are hilarious! These babies definitely need to get their priorities in order with Desperate Housewives and scrappingelated holidays! Hope that little once decides to make an entrance very soon! Have you decided on a name? Or not telling us until she arrives?!

Love the name Teaghan!

DH always wanted to have 3. Today he asked if we could have another, I said OK.

OH, too bad, he already had a vasectomy. Sometimes I am too cruel.

Oh Meg, I love the name you chose for her...that is beautiful!!!! Can't wait till she gets here so we can see pics, pics and more pics

On to the other subject...I thought I was done after the two and after having 3 miscarriages I did not really want to go there anymore so I told DH we were DONE !!!! The last miscarriage happened on 9/11 (yep, I was getting an ultrasound and everyone was talking about it ...SO SAD) so after NOT trying to have another one I find out I am prego and then find out the Tuesday after Memorial day that I am having TWINS!!!!! When they were born DS 2 was 5 1/2 so it was kinda weird having babies in the house again but I tell you, I would NOT change it for the world and would probably have 5 more if I was not so darn OLD!!!!!!

Meghan, I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only baby maker around here! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one out there. Katie will be 3 in August and Paul will be 2 in September, and we're expecting baby #3 in September. I love big families (within reason). I come from a family of 4 and DH from a family of 5 kids, so that seems very normal to us.

I love her name, especially how it is spelled like yours. So cute! Let's get that baby outta there so we can see some pictures!

Ya think?
I thought it would take a little bit to get p/g with Paul (since we weren't newlyweds anymore ) but I went off the pill and 2 weeks later was pregnant! So Katie and Paul are only 13 months apart, which is insane. I love it, but it's insane.

It must be so nice to have an older one around to help out! I bet your girls are so excited for her to come!

You go Meaghan!
My best friend has three kids under 3- well, the oldest just turned three last weekend. 18 months, and 6 weeks. People give her a lot of snarky comments, but I think she's learning to ignore them. Whatever floats your boat. I think it's awesome for people who can have a large family.
Good luck with this new baby! I know she'll be gorgeous!

Loooooove the name Meg! It goes really well with the other kids' names! As far as fertility goes, my family calls me fertile myrtle because I get pregnant almost as soon as Jeff looks at me. We go pregnant on our honeymoon (SO not planned) and then as soon as we decided that it was time to have another one, BAM! I was pregnant.
Jeff doesn't seem to understand why I am INSISTING that he get a vasectomy as well as me getting my tubes tied. We're done having kids and I'd like it to stay that way thank you very much!

Oh Meg, you sound just like me! I had my fifth one three months after I turned 31 and my oldest was 12, too! I didn't realize that our kids were so close in age, cool!

Good vibes coming your way! I hope you get to get everything done before she gets here! My fifth one came fast when she decided to come out! I was only in labor for 2 1/2 hours and she was here. Good luck!

There are days that I regret having had my tubes tied, like when I was holding sweet Lucas last week at Kristin's. But then I come home and deal with the four I have, and the looks I get, and the comments (man, you must be insane - Yup, I am. hehehee).

LOVE the name you picked out! I almost guessed that last night too!! Hope the princess waits it out until at least after DH tomorrow for ya!! But not too much longer ... I remember that all too well!
DS #1 was 2-4 days late (depending on which due date we went by), DD was 10 days late (induced), DS #2 was 5 days late and DS #3 decided to be nice to Mommy by coming 5 days early!!! After the first three being late, I wasn't holding much hope on the last one coming early, although I would have settled for the due date. lol

awww. i LOVE the name! it's so pretty.. and so different.

my brother and i are five years apart. i don't think it was intentional. but, mom was three months pregnant with me when they got married. so yeah. but, geoff and i have four years and eleven months between us. and i think it's the perfect difference. cause we're separated enough to not be like, bickering all the time, but we're not too far apart.

eventually, i think i want two kids. that's it. no more. lol. i'd LOVE one of each. but i can't really choose. unless i adopt (which is a possibility). though, gotta find the perfect guy first. and get married. lol.

Okay, all you Fertile Myrtles. Please blow some fertility dust my way. We have been trying for our fourth (and our last) since July and I am starting to become impatient. I am ready to get this child-bearing thing done with!

Ok Meg, sounds like we have a lot in common!

I'm 30, pregnant with my 5th. I have all girls.
I'm only 10 weeks so I ofcourse have no idea what this one will be, but let me just say, that I will be really shocked if they say it's a boy..lol.

It sounds like the ages of our children are kinda close too. Mine are 14, 9, 3, and 1 (almost 2).
I just had to comment cause we sound alike in this situation.

Also wanted to say that Teaghan is a beautiful name. Congrats and hope she gets here soon.

Meg, I hope she hurries (tomorrow LOL). I was a week over with my first, then went 10 days EARLY with my second. So when I got prego for the third time, I thought, since the last one was early, this one probably will be too! Hahaha....Mother Nature wasn't very nice, and she was 10 days overdue. I was the size of a house!

I want one more, Tony doesn't, so we're at an impasse, but I told him if he wanted to get the big V done, to go ahead. I'm not in the mood to fight about it, it's not worth it. Plus, he's 10 years older than me, and I forget that sometimes, though I'm not sure why that matters, when I'm the one who has to be prego, breastfeed, etc, etc, etc LOL

I don't think the jump from 2 to 3 is bad - you girls pondering #3 should go for it! The only baby you'll ever regret is the one you didn't have. That's my policy!

I have 4 boys - the first 3 came in 3 1/2 years, then we have a big jump of 2 1/2 years before #4 was born. They are almost 8, 6, 4, and almost 2 right now.

Best of luck to you Meg! Hope she makes her grand entrance soon for you! And what a beautiful name!

When we went from 2 to 3 I was a bit nervous. Especially with my youngest at the time being a huge handful. But it honestly hasn't been bad. So I would have to agree that those who are pondering going from 2 to 3 should go for it! Now 4 is what scares me!! LOL!
