Yeah, I'm about an hour north of Edmonton. 45 minutes almost exactly to West Edmonton Mall from my house.

No one goes there (unless relatives from out of town force us too LOL), in 9 years, I've been there 4 times (twice with aforementioned relatives)

I know.... I usually don't go there when we go to Edmonton either. Its too insane, too big and too loud. We like to go to Ikea and the Outlets in South Edmonton Common instead! Heaven I tell you - pure heaven!!

Or you could live in rural Manitoba...where there is only 1 "real" city and maybe 2 "real" malls in the whole province!

My BIL/SIL live up in Grande Prairie and we're hoping to visit them there this summer!!

GP is a nice city...we lived up there for about 5 months (extended sleep-over is what DH and I call it).

I don't like shopping at WEM either - we will go there only if we have to - like going to bath & bodyworks because thats now a necessity since its the only one in canada and I have fallen in love. lol. I'm with you jae - I LOVE south edmonton common!!
