Default who was your first musical crush?

Im a little embarrassed to say who mine is LOL. Kenny Rogers. I used to play his music on my little record player. I thought I would marry him. I was oh about five then. Then it was Randy Owen from Alabama. In my teens it was Sabastian Bach from Skid Row. I was thinking about this last night because my niece (three of them actually) have crushes on Justin Beiber

Rick Springfield for me! His album "Success Has't Spoiled Me Yet" was one of my first albums. *sigh*

I remember looking at Tiger Beat magazines that were filled with Shaun Cassidy, Leif Garrett, etc...but I don't think I had any crushes going on. The first real musical crush would probably have been Rick Springfield.

My nieces are 1 1/2, 5 and 10 and they all love Justin Beiber. How do the younger two even know who he is? I have yet to hear even one of his songs LOL

I remember listening to their tapes on my walkman over and over and I had posters all over my walls. LOL

lol...at all the Rick fans. For my 11th birthday I got my very first boom box and a copy (cassette tapes of course) of Rick Springfield's Hard to Hold and Michael Jackson's Thriller. I thought I was so cool.

I might just be the only person who has never had a musical crush... or an actor crush. I am just not in awe of 'famous' people, I see them as normal everyday people.

Oh, my crush had nothing to do with the fact that he was famous. He could have been the boy next door and I'd have still had a crush on him. I just thought that he was cute!

I'm not in awe of 'famous' people either, someone being famous won't stop me from having a crush, if that makes sense. Their being 'famous' just makes them more visible

This It was because I thought he was gorgeous back then and not because he was famous. Now actors I never crushed on much because for me it was and still is all about music

NKOTB - Joe to be specific. LOL I was sure I was going to marry him. Like Jenn, I had posters covering every inch of my wall. My how times have changed (do teens even DO posters anymore? My daughter has never been into them).

Devlin has a poster of Katniss from The Hunger Games. It came in a magazine of mine and he snatched it up. He's also had...umm, Edward and Jacob from Twilight, but he took those down. If his friends hadn't said anything about them, they would probably still be up. He loves all posters! My parents did not allow me to tape, stick, or nail anything into my walls. They clashed with my mother's "theme rooms", but I had a unfinished room in the basement plastered with posters of NKOTB (circa 1989-1991). This was the furthest I probably got with a musical crush, but musicians still inhabit my hard drive and phone (The Killers, Muse, Depeche Mode, Placebo, Maroon 5...the frontmen make me swoon).

P.S. Mine had nothing to do with them being famous either, they were just cute and I liked their music.

So I am really about to age myself, but my first musical crush was on Ian of The Bay City Rollers. My bedroom was absolutely covered in posters of him and the rest of the group. I think they may have been a one hit wonder with Saturday Night.

I've always loved music for as long as I can remember (and still do!), I can remember listening to Bon Jovi, Poison, Guns N Roses, Motley Crue etc. when I was younger but my first crush that I can really remember where I had their posters on my walls and all kinds of memorabilia type stuff would have been NKOTB. I was all about Jordan and Joey from 4th or 5th grade through junior high!!
