NSBR: I am so proud of DS!

So we started the nekie potty training method this morning! At first we had an accident...but then he started to go and caught himself and sat on the potty and went! Then he did i again!!! I am so very proud of him! I might just have him potty trained by his third birthday!!!

We just went cold turkey on diapers with Marley in mid-June and she was trained in no time. I think naked hiney or just undies is the way to go!

Now just wait until you're at the store and your DS starts announcing "I go pee-pee and poo-poo on the potty now!"

haha thanks ladies! We had a great morning! Only two accidents! Now it's nap time...so we will see how things go tonight too! I just can't wait until I don't have to change any more poopy diapers!

I'm jealous. L.J. has been in underwear (pullups only at nap and nighttime) for going on 4 months now and he still just doesn't really get it. He does well when I take him and doesn't mind going, but he still isn't to the point of telling me he has to go or just taking the initative to go himself. UGH!!!!

When we leave the house to go somewhere he does well and I can pretty much judge when he's going to need to go so there have only been two accidents outside the house in 4 months, but it is so mentally exhausting worrying about it.

I read somewhere that the average age for boys is 37 months. He just turned 3 on June 22 so maybe it will "click" with him soon.

Woohoo, that's great! Mason was impossible to train...he was nearly 5 before had it all figured out (he'd been peeing on the potty since he was about 3.5, but going #2 was the hard part for him - but a lot of the problems were a result of meds he was on). Natalie, though...she trained herself, lol...but she was 3.5 as well.

That's great! My DD has been running around the house naked for about 3 weeks now. Only a few accidents the first week or so, doing well now. I have company coming when I have my c-section next week, so I am thinking I have to get her back into some clothes...soon!

Quinten is almost 3.5 and still fighting me daily. He'll go pee, when told to go (never on his own will at home anyways, although he seems to ask every single time we are out. lmao) - it's the messy stuff that he keeps doing in his pants!! ARGH!!!
When I am at work though, hubby will not let him go nekkie or in underwear, so he has pull-ups in the morning and unders/nekkid with me. I think it's confusin' the poor boy!

Oh well, he has four weeks with the grandparents starting Saturday - I am almost confident he will come home trained. lmao

haha yeah we haven't gotten to the messy stuff yet...it's just a matter of time...mostly he does it in the middle of the night so who knows....hopefully his grand parents will have him trained! hehe....and it prolly is confusing him with the pullup thing and nekie....men...so lazy...hehe

My DD is 3 in August, and I've been putting off this for so long! Now that we're back from vacation, I should get started, but I really don't want to! But she keeps wanting to use the potty, so I think she's ready. Fingers crossed...
