Default Hey Kristin maker of magical Christmas collections...

I know you mentioned this was your 11th collection. I just had to checkout my stash and see how many years I have been a KCB Christmas shopper.

11 - 2019 - A Woodland Christmas
10 - 2018 - A Merry Little Christmas
09 - 2017 - A Merry December
08 - 2016 - Christmas Melodies
07 - 2015 - Celebrate Christmas
06 - 2014 - A Fairy Tale Christmas
05 - 2013
04 - 2012
03 - 2011
02 - 2010
01 - 2009

Not sure the years for A Christmas Wonderland and Once Upon a Christmas.

Can you fill in the name for years 5 - 1 and correct any I might have wrong?

Your kits are timeless. They are all amazing. Thank you for continuing this tradition.

1. Holiday Classics 2009
2. Tis the Season 2010
3. Deck the Halls 2011
4. Once Upon a Christmas 2012
5. A Christmas Wonderland 2013
6. A Fairy Tale Christmas 2014
7. Celebrate Christmas 2015
8. Christmas Melodies 2016
9. A Merry December 2017
10. A Merry Little Christmas 2018
11. A Woodland Christmas 2019

I THINKKKKK this is the right order!

I could try and find some previews of the old ones.. but that's scary! Digital has come a long way!

I can actually remember designing a few of these collections because of the time in my life. My very first collection Lucas was a baby and I remember some of those moments of designing while also caring for a bit of a demanding baby.. it was a challenge.

Another interesting tidbit is my kit description writer Glynis has been with me from the VERY beginning (from 2007 before I even started at sweet shoppe designs) and has written every single Christmas description I believe!

Thank you for being so kind!

I would love to see the previews. I think I have them all except for the first two.

I'm not finding Deck the Halls in my stash, but I have all the others. I guess that goes to show I have been a KCB fan for several years.

That is a neat tidbit to know Glynis has been on your team since 2009. She does a great job with her descriptions.

Here to many more years of KCB Christmas collections.

Ha! No I am not new anymore. I was so green back in the day that I never knew the username would be forever. I have thought about changing it, but wasn't sure people would know it was me. lol...

haha such a sweet thread!
Thanks for the walk down memory lane. It's so fun to see how much the store previews and yourself have evolved as a designer.

Oh what fun is this thread!!
I'm quite the hoarder of KCB's kits as well. It was fun to see some of the older designs.
I had no idea that the designers don't necessarily name their kits.
Ok what fun would that job be - to name kits! - it's like my fantasy job of naming OPI nail polish colors LOL!

ohh I name them (i do often ask for help from my CT on decision making) I just have help with the kit descriptions themselves! Sometimes I think I spend more time deciding on the kit title than the actual designing.. haha. It can be quite the ordeal for me!

Oops! my error! Well I love the kit names - well worth the effort and CT help. Kudos to Glynis on the wonderful descriptions!

I LOVE those Once Upon a Christmas kits! I was very new to digiscrapping back in 2012, and I wish I had bought those!

I know this one is now old and outdated (and retired) but this is still one of my favourites. I think it's one of the first kits where my love for designing woodsy outdoors started

Thanks for the kind words everyone <3

Kristin, you could do a remix of some of these old, retired kits, call them The spirit of Christmas past, and take the best from each of them. I need that dried orange slice element, I’m just sayin’

This is really making my heart happy because if you only knew how much I stress about this collection each year (although if you've ever guested with me during November I suppose you would know.. haha) I especially worried this year that maybe the kits ended up too dark. I tend to unintentionally use the same kinds of colors each year but this time with all the wood I felt like maybe there was just a bit too much darkness. Thanks again girls <3

Also perhaps that WILL be my collection for next year LOL! I was tiny tim's little sister in a play once haha

I LOVE the Christmas collection, well I love every single kit you ever made Kristin. And yes, 2020 ghosts of Christmas past collection sounds awesome

I had a run through my stash as I was downloading the black Friday goodies and I have 262 KCB kits currently. Need to do some scrapping with the oldies but goodies.

This is the second holiday season that I've guested with you and you are right. I see the stress you give yourself every year. But as a customer and fan of your designs, I appreciate all the work and quality that you add to your kits! This year's collection was AMAZING and even though you thought they were dark, I thought they were JUST PERFECT!

I, sadly, am missing two years. 2009 and 2012. So close to all of them.
