PGAD 2/4 - Take a Photo

I'm bragging on my 16-year-old son, Collin today. He is the one on the far left. His winter track relay 4 X 800 team won first place today at leagues and broke the school record! I am so proud of them! I love that they are seeing rewards after all their hard work all season!



And I was just browsing IG, and my daughter Avery, who is away at college shared a post about her brother's win today! Proud mom moment!!

one person i love is my dear daughter... took advantage of her visiting today (she lives a state away so i don't often see her). and because today is my beloved grandfather's 129th birthday (he lived a long full life), i'm also wishing him a very happy birthday.

I usually love cookie decorating. These are just some of the 200 that I've been busy with the last three days for my daughter's upcoming sweethearts dance. Whew!

I decided to go with an object.

I choose a computer. The computer gives me the ability to do so many things, to be creative (Digi Scrapping) and gives me access to so much. (I remember going to the library to look up things in an encyclopedia, who does that now)

This isn't a new photo...I don't take that many photos lately. Boys are bigger, less to photograph. This is one of hubby and I back in June 23 on a road trip for a bookstore! He fusses about how many books I have but will make a special weekend getaway for me to go to a bookstore then find more on the route home! This one we are standing in used to be a movie theater and soldiers hung out and even slept in it during WW2. There is an old military base nearby. Life with him is awesome <3

The picture that almost didn't happen - I've been sick with a nasty respiratory virus and my adult sons I rarely see were in town. Thankfully I improved enough to be around them masked.
