Question Tutorial ideas...

I am stumped as to what I could "teach" you all that hasn't already been covered in our wonderful tutorial section. After mulling over this for FAR too long, I'm finally just going to ask you all...

...is there anything that you've been wanting to learn? Do you think there's a technique that could be covered better in the tut section. Or is there anything you've seen specifically in my pages that interests you (that I could maybe demonstrate).

Thanks so much for any help!!!

How about focusing on a tool in the tool bar? Like I am always amazed at how many ways you can use the same tool. OR like puppet warp..........I had NO idea what that was until like a few months ago. I am not sure what all has been covered in the tut section. I am off to look.

Ok, so I have an idea! Whew!

I'm thinking of sharing some quick tips on how to use some embellishments that people tend to have a hard time using on their pages. I was thinking I could cover up to 5 different tricky ones. I know people have mentioned buttons were hard for them, and character-type elements. What are some for you?

(Off to go check if something like this has already been covered)

Just saw that, Reed! LOL I say pick a tool and show it off. OR maybe your favorite photo editing trick?

Embellishment ideas: Clips - paper clips, big chunky clips, etc. Stick pins/safety pins, etc. Making tape look realistic.

There might be tuts on these already - I really have no idea since I never check!

Brook, does anyone use the pen tool for extractions? Saw a tutorial on Zite for my iPad.
I use the polygonal lasso tool more often than not when I'm extracting shapes from patterned papers, etc. I'm definitely not the extraction Queen on staff though... I rarely do it. In fact, none of us Babes really do much of it. I had to go back 38 pages in the Sugarbabe gallery before I found one page with extraction. But, I'd give that tutorial idea to Sheri, Keely, or Rebecca.

I don't use the pen tool for extractions, but here is a tutorial I wrote using the magnetic lasso tool

I'm no expert, either... in my tutorial that I had extraction in, I did it quick and dirty to create a template for a mini album and then linked back to Sheri's for really how to do it... haha

I do extractions but I almost always use masks and a brush/lasso. It's what I've found is the quickest method for me since I'm a hardcore tablet user.

I don't use the pen tool very often, actually hardly ever, but if you want pen tutorials we could work on that.

I think Brook is pretty much speaking for all of us that like doing tutorials, please let us know what you want.
