Default Currently reading week of 04/10

Since it's been awhile maybe list what you've been reading this month as well. I remembered to link some of these up to my Goodreads reviews, but not all of them.

I just finished this and then snuck off to dry my tears. Found out that it's being made into a film.

This was so-so. Overrated IMO. I had to skim the last 1/4.

Another 'ok' one, but kept me occupied at the airport and during slow vacay times.

Not as good as I was anticipating. CoHo's always a hit-or-miss for me.

Eh.

LOVED these next 2

Ok enablers... hook me up!

I've been in SUCH a funk with my books this year. I think I've only gotten through 1 full book. I've started and stopped several others. My mind is just all over the place right now.

I'm currently reading Indoctrination. We're going to be homeschooling starting in 2017, and this book pretty much cements why...

I also just got Good Girl from the library, so I'm going to try to get into that soon.

You might want to check this one out as well. I read it twice (because I pulled my kids out of school two different times) and both times it was a good shot in the arm for remembering why I was doing it. This guy doesn't just rant his opinion. He worked in the NY public school system for like 30 years or something and he has a lot of insight. I've lent it out to a lot of homeschoolers and always get a hearty, "THANK YOU!" when it's returned.

I'm actually over halfway done with this book. It's big for me since I haven't read anything recently.

That's a great book! They're making into a film, I'm pretty sure. The follow-up books aren't quite as good, in my opinion, but that first one was awesome.

I just finished this, and it was an interesting perspective, but I found myself skimming towards the end.

I read Dorothy Must Die a while back, and I've been reading through the prequels as my library gets them. They are easy reading, and it is a fun take on what happened after Dorthy visited Oz.
