Default This is why I love printing photobooks!

I just got 2 new ones in the mail this week and it finally filled up my cabinet, I'll have to start using another one soon. But just look.

36 albums, the one, large brown album is May 2005-April 2006, probably 120 pages give or take. The other 35 albums have a combined 2853 pages in them. Yes, I'm lame and looked at all my old pages & did the math. The rest are from May 2006-December 2011, with the 4 stacked being special books and Keira's Make a Wish Trip to Disney in Feb/Mar 2012.

These are 2 of the main reasons I love digital scrapbook, lots of pages, not very much space needed and of course 3rd, no clean up!

Thanks girls! I always feel so accomplished when I get a new book in the mail! I haven't printed anything in like 14 months, so I was so excited to get these. And I have my January-September 2012 album already to go, just gotta get some extra cash to buy it.

Fantastic! And how wonderful is it to have thousands of memories stored on 1 shelf? I've stuck with postbound albums since I skip around chronologically when I scrapbook and don't want to wait 3 years to print until I'm truly finished with the year. But I love the look and size of the photobooks! Maybe one day...

I love photobooks. I have 3 books ready to print - just need to finish off a few December pages and figure out who I'm going to print with. I'm leaning toward Viovio at the moment. The place I used to use has closed.

I have all of mine in albums but loose pages and am up to 8 now I think? But I just started printing them like a year ago.

I love yours though. What size is your favorite?

I totally love your books. And one of your books actually got me motivated to work on some photo book projects myself. I agree with all your reasons, lol!

Me too!

So, which books are from where? What size are the smallest ones? I'm curious!

I started with 12x12 from shutterfly. After 2 years of scrapping & print, i switched to 8x8 at shutterfly to save money. Some of my 12x12s were like $200. And i heard about viovio.com from someone, can't remember now, much cheaper, I've been printing with them since 2009. I love the fact their books hold 160 pages, shutterfly was only 100, and i think the 8.5x8.5 is the perfect size. 8x8 always felt alittle small. But the 8.5 x 8.5 seems a lot larger to me.

I'm going to have to check out the 8.5x8.5 books from VioVio... I've been spoiled by my 12x12's but I'm getting behind on printing because they are so pricey!!!

Those look so nice with the spines all decorated and labelled too.
Having a printing business (I just print pages, not books), I rarely print books - only when I have a special project (usually a gift) or a sweet coupon. LOL I think I have maybe 2 or 3 books of my own. But I have about 12 12x12 albums full of printed pages!!

LOVE it!!! I'm behind.... scrapping and printing. I wonder if I should break up my years so I can print more. But my whole year DOES fit in a viovio book, so I kind of like that. You scrap a lot. Anyway, I love the look and I'm so happy you have all that printed!! Maybe that will give me the push!

I do, as the kids have gotten old, i could do 2 books a year, but now with Harper, my page counts are going back up.

How inspiring. Where do you get them printed? How many pages are in a typical book?

I use viovio.com. Thir books will hold 160 pages. Mine range around 130 to 160.

I have never scrapped a photo book because I don't scrap in chronological order.. EVER. So I only print my pages to put in binders. I've always loved the looks of printed books though.

I don't always scrap in chronological order, But I do wait until I've done a certain time period to print. For a while i was doing a book for every quarter of the year. So even I'd scrap all over, but once I finished say January-March, then I'd print them. I've printed other time periods before, it drives me crazy if I do it that way, but if I'm closer to finishing April-June over Jan-Mar, I'll print that first.

I barely scrapped at all last year but that photo of your photobooks is getting me energized to get scrapping again.
