I'm a geek too! DH has been texting me all the breaking news from Apple. LOL. We will probably be getting another Apple TV. We are still waiting for the iPad, but we definitely want one.

Says on Apple's website that iPad 2's are now starting at $399. We were hoping they'd drop more than that!
DH is talking about possibly getting me the new iPad!! Eee! I'm trying not to persuade him b/c I know how much they cost, but really wanting one! hehe. We will see!

Yes! We're totally spoiling ourselves and getting one. DH has been waiting for the news! He says it's for his bday, but I say it's not because I want it to be equally mine! I haven't even watched the videos yet, but we're excited!

Only think I'm disappointed about it the camera. I don't see why they didn't use the same camera that's in the iPhone 4S! iPhone 4S has an 8mp and the new iPad is only a 5mp!

I'm curious about other ipad users, but I don't use mine for taking pictures - it's kind of awkward. I did see a number of them being used at the school talent show the other night and I was surprised.
I do use it to edit my iphone pics though.

So i did it! I preordered the "New iPad" (I agree that is a totally dumb name!) It will be delivered to my doorstep on March 16th. EEE! This is my first tablet AND my first Mac anything. Can't wait... my only worry is that the iPad will be so awesome I will want to switch everything over... and that is SPENDY!!

YAY!!! Congrats, Aly!! I LOVE my iPhone & my MacPro! Dying for an iPad! lol Yes, you will want to switch, but it is SO worth it! Our laptop is Windows & I HATE using that thing now! LOL

I so want to preorder but I have to wait til next month b/c I'm determined not to put in on my credit card. DS was talking to my sister on the phone last night and he said, "guess what, Mama is getting me an ipad!" um yeah right buddy...I don't think so! lol

I was like, "Hubby, if we magically find $400, can I get the ipad2?"... and he just stares at me. boo. I told him the new ipads are out and that I'd *sacrifice* and just get the old one since it's on sale. He wasn't impressed.
