Nap Day

Goodness. WHERE has this day gone?

We got up early cause I had an appointment out on the base to pick up a free breast pump rental (they rent nice double electric pumps to military members at no charge! Gotta love that!). Then I went for blood work & stopped by the pharmacy to pick up my prenatal vitamins.

By the time I got home just before noon, I was so tired and emotional (no reason except being 9 months pregnant. I could cry at the drop of a hat). So, I thought I would go rest, read for a while, and maybe take a nap. I woke up at nearly 3:30pm!! What on earth!?!?!

So I had some lunch, lounged around a bit watching a little tv trying to wake up, and now at 5:45, I'm thinking I should start my work for the day.

Geesh!

I have to say though, it was a gooooooooooooooooooooooooood nap. And I'm not sorry at all. LOL

Enjoy while you can Libby, it's good for you to take it easy. That's awesome about the breast pump, I stressed over buying mine but ended up loving it so much.

It must have been a nap kind of day today! I slept the whole time Derek napped!!

Yay on the pump. That was a huge worry for me when I had Derek b/c I had given my Brand new pump to my cousin after I had the other two boys. She was using it and I felt weird asking for it back. She ended up giving it to me without me having to ask but I ended up not being able to breast feed with Derek either so she got it back.

I napped pretty much every day at this stage of my pregnancies. Rest when your body tells you to - you're growing a baby, and that takes an extraordinary amount of energy.

That's exactly what I told Jeff. I fully intend on enjoying these mid-day naps while I can because I realize there is going to come a time when I can't do it anymore (or as KCB pointed out... I'll still nap during the day, but that'll be my primary source of sleep! LOL)

Pretty excited about the breast pump. Really hoping it all works out so that I can breastfeed with no issues this time (I really struggled with Kendra 14 years ago).

I think naps are glorious no matter what age you are, pregnant or not. If I could have gotten away with it today, I would have laid my head down on my desk at work and caught a few winks.
