Nov. 22: 30 Days of Thanks
It's the start of Thanksgiving Week here in the U.S. I can't wait for Turkey Day! A day with my family, good friends and lots and lots of delicious food!

My boyfriend singing songs he knows make me giggle, people randomly letting me know they're praying for me, with absolutely no provocation, my mom's lack of computer knowledge (and the fact that helping her makes me feel smart. Plus, she's so darn cute when she can't get it right... and it's nice to see something she DOESN'T know... she is seriously one of the smartest women alive), being brought pizza in bed while watching a comedy special, being tickled, my dogs weird noises he makes... so much to be thankful for again today.
I really wish we could continue this project past Nov. I think that it has helped me so much to think about the things i'm thankful for!

today I am thankful for the staff at Children's Memorial Hospital. they made a very unpleasant time in our lives much more tolerable and I have a happy, healthy 5 year old because of them

Today I'm thankful for kiddos that know mommy is not a morning person and they know to go easy on me when daddy has to be at work early and it's all up to mommy to get everyone ready, fed and off to school!!! And I'm also thankful for the breakfast program at my kids school so that when all mommy feeds them is cold cereal, they can got to school and get yummy cheese omelets!!! *lol*

Today I'm thankful that I drove around the city all day in the snow and ice and didn't hit anyone or anything. And I'd be even more thankful if one of my awesome neighbors took pity on me and plowed my driveway before the morning.

Today I'm thankful for my true friends...the ones that even when weeks, months, and even sometimes years elapse between conversations and visits are understanding and forgiving and pick up right where we left off, catch up, and move forward. I'm thankful for those special people that I know will always be in my life, no matter where it takes us.
