Default Photo editing - "head swapping"

I just saw this on Pinterest and of course had to try it out. I have a family member who ALWAYS blinks in pictures... even with no flash! Anyway, it is an easy way to do the edits in PS to swap out expressions, faces... in my case, eternal closed eyes.

That's pretty much how I do it. That's how I've always done it.

I've done it a couple times. I did a blog post on it ages ago on my very neglected blog.

Thanks Robin - I've always struggled with doing this a weird way and with my boys, there is always one looking strange. I'll try this next time!

That's pretty much how I do it too. I swap heads a lot. With kids it is so hard to get both looking at once. My two are getting better but when there is a group it always takes some editing.

Yes, I've done it more than a handful of times! Hopefully no one has ever noticed. LOL

Here's a layout I did using a "face swap" photo.

That's how I do it, too. Many of my favorite photos of all 3 kids together have a head swap, and I did it a couple days ago on a picture of DH and DS. I've never had any luck subbing part of the face, like eyes only. My kids move too much, even between similar shots, for facial features to line up well enough.I have to do the full head every time.
