Default You know you spend too much time scrapping when...

you create a mission trip supportaising letter in Photoshop instead of using Word.

What's yours?

Not quite scrapping, but... When you look at billboards you think to yourself, "Hey! I know that font!"

When you are nowhere near a camera, but something happens and you do a mad dash to find anything that can take a picture... because you just have to scrap that.

When you are at a store shopping and see something and say "I can make that and so-and-so's kit would be perfect for it!".

I do the font recognition too - comes from my siggy making days

I also try to get my kids to use PS and my digital stuff. My son did a 2 page layout a few years ago for his group presentation using Penny's templates. they had to act out scenes from MacBeth in photos

When your first thought when you spill or mess something up is "Ctrl+Z!"

Ctrl+Z and me too...I want to CTRL+Z everything. lol.

Also when instead of putting the offender in his corner and giving him a time out you rather take pictures of the priceless moment...

and I even took a moment to take a video with him saying Marmite...

When your daughter seeing a kit you've downloaded goes and gets props in order for you to take photos so you can scrap with your new kit.

I've also done worksheets and notebooking pages in my scrapbook software...so much easier to format than a word document!

I totally do the font thing, too. And the Ctrl+Z thing. Plus the take-a-picture-instead-of-punishing thing. We're a sad lot, huh?

Naw, we're awesome!

I think its a LOT easier to format stuff in photoshop. I was asked to make something at work and I had to use word since that's all we have there. I was miserable. What took me 30 minutes in word would have taken about 2 minutes in photoshop.

Yes, I've been guilty (many, many times) of getting the camera before I tell the mess-maker what their consequence is.

And I've made fliers that are mainly text using PS because it looks so much nicer when I add fun touches with my scrap supplies and is easier to format.

And when we do a family outing I know I'll want to scrap, I always make sure to pick out the kids clothes that day so I can make sure they coordinate. If I know what kit I'm using, the clothing will match it.

I work hard to coordinate my kids even if I have no intention of scrapping the photos. Any time I know I'm going to take pictures I want the kids to coordinate. I also try to coordinate DH and I as much as possible if I think we may be in the pictures. I've always done this though, before I had these two, I coordinated my step-son and my friends' kids when we went places. Heck, I remember buying outfits for one of my friend's kids so that I could get cute pictures. I took a ton and gave the pictures to their parents. Those kids were like my own when they were little. They are 14 and 16 now and so grown up. I miss them being little.

Yes, this!! LOL I will even consider which scrapkits would match when I'm buying new clothes for my kids. It's bad!

Umm yea I am guilty of a couple of these. And my daughter made a comment after my husband's surgery and the surgeon brought out the photos taken of his gall bladder and the first thing my daughter says is "Are you going to scrap those?" I was like ewww NO!! But you know just the fact she asked is kinda funny

When you send your DD on a cruise with a p&s AND DSLR so you can make sure she gets tons of photos and you have an excuse to buy more summer kits lol....

And you go to make a page a sneak peek for Meg's new kit and said dd says "oh I like that background, can you do a cruise page with that!!!!!!"

I often buy clothes to match kits. I made sure my son had an orange shirt for Easter cause I so needed to use Libby's Easter kit. And many times I have planned family outtings to use themed kits I like.
