NSBR: I Love Walden Media - new Beezus & Ramona movie!

Beverly Cleary is one of my favorite children's authors. She's got great books for boys and girls that are great, and family favorites of ours.

There's a new Beezus & Ramona movie coming from Walden Media. This company rocks - bringing great children's literature to the screen - stuff the regular movie studios would never touch or bother with. I'm so happy!!!

Oh! And for all of you Narnia fans....Fox Entertainment picked up the distribution to Narnia that Disney weinied out on...so there will be more Narnia stories coming! WOOT!!

Are you seriuos??? I LOVED all the Ramona books as a kid! Well, really any of Beverly Cleary's books! Can't wait to see the movie! I'm sure it'll be great!

Yay!!! I loved BC books as a kid and any kid movie that is done well is SO WELCOME!!

I have no idea how I managed to miss that book! Thanks for the tip, Darc. I just requested it from the library. It figures that our branch is the only one with the book actually OUT right now, lol!

Oh wow!!! I grew up on the Ramona books and I remember it being a TV show on PBS for awhile. I am so excited...I'll definitely take Rachel to see it.

And woohoo on Narnia! Although I'm more excited about Peter Jackson's The Hobbit...anybody wanna go to a midnight showing in costume with me? LOL
