iLife/iPhoto vs PSE
We just got our new iMac to day. It is beautiful!!!! But I have to go and but PSE AGAIN!! and have it put on here. My friend who works at Apple, told me about iLife/iPhoto. He said it does the same things as ADOBE. So I am curious what your opinions are about the two. I know that some have switched over to Macs. Did you get Adobe or did you go with iPhoto? Please help. Either way I have to spend about $100 to put one on this computer. So I really want to be informed and pick the right one. Thanks!!!

Well iphoto is more of an image catalogue/organizational tool with basic editing but you wouldn't be able to scrap with it.

I love iPhoto and the iLife family, but not for scrapping. You need to get PSE... I think they are on 6.0 for mac.

I use PSE for scrapping on my MAC, but I do love iphoto for organizing my photos and digital kits. I have two separate libraries. One for all my photos and one for all my kits.
