ACD See questions (HELP)
I just got ACDSee and I have no clue how to use it. My questions about this software are, can I organize my kits in such a way that I can just search for paper or specific elements? Can I only do a search that is kit specific based on where I save them on my hard drive? Any tutorials on this software? I'd like to find an easier way to use items from different kits without spending HOURS searching my EHD; it gets frustrating and confusing. Thanks!

http://www.digiscrapinfo.com/ has lots of info about ACDSee.
If it helps, think of ACDSee as Windows Explorer on steroids. So it follows that kind of file structure but the search & tagging capabilities are awesome. Keep in mind that you should use ACDSee to move/delete files. Don't use Windows Explorer b/c that can cause probs in ACDSee. Well that is how it used to be anyway. How you search for things will depend on how you tag or categorize them. I lurve ACDsee. eta: tuts link: http://digiscrapinfo.com/acdseeesour...ager/tutorials

I love ACDSee also. I accidentally moved stuff in Windows Explorer one day, and it messed with it, so make sure if you delete/move any files to do it within ACDSee. I also love the site Mimi recommended, it's definitely an awesome resource!
