Default Book Suggestions for April

If you have a book (or two) you want to read post here by March 24th then we'll set up a poll for the weekend thru midnight March 28th then decide which book we will read for April...that way if you need a few days to pick it up you'll have time!

Please only leave 1 or 2 book suggestions. Depending on who has read what we might pick 2 books for the month and you can read 1 or both of them.

Madame Tussand: A Novel of the French Revolution by Michelle Moran

Guernica by Dave Boling

I've read The Help and Water For Elephants and enjoyed them both. I'd certainly jump in on the discussion if you decide to go with one of them.

I love all Kristin Hannah books.....Winter Garden, Firefly Lane and True Colors are my favorite of hers. I can read any of hers though.

The Help and Water for Elephants is on my wishlist and I would gladly read those!

I'd love it if we had a choice of two books. There are are few mentioned that I've already read. If not, I will still gladly join in the discussion if one of those is picked.
Here are a couple of more suggestions.
Shades of Gray
Madame Tussaud
I second the above. I read "Tale of Two Cities" last year with my son, he had to read it for school, and I really enjoyed it. This one has my interest piqued.

I would love to do the book club but I just started a new series and wont be able to put it down til I am done reading it all. So my suggestion would be

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

I am currently on Book 3 in the series just started it though only about 90 pages in.

I'm a complete Outlander addict (listening to book 2 on audio right this minute, in fact). I refuse to admit how many times I've read Outlander (and Voyager, too).

I'm interested in these 2 already mentioned and 1 new one:

Madame Tussand: A Novel of the French Revolution by Michelle Moran
The Paris Wife
and Louisa May Alcott: The Woman Behind Little Women

I've read The Help, Water for Elephants and a few of the others mentioned. I'm happy to join in the discussion of those.

It's seriously sooooo good. On page 161 of Voyager as of this morning. My friend who got me addicted says I should totally listen to it on tape because that way you get the whole feel of the Scottish accents and what not!

I second Jennifer's take on Sing You Home. I'm #25 on the library waiting list. But I'd love to decide now that it's going to be May or June's read so that people have a chance to get it from the library if they want to.
