Default Printer Recommendations

I really need a new printer, I've noticed ours cuts the bottom of works off when I print a document, so if I'm going to get something new, I'd like it be nice enough for doing hybrid things from time to time.

Suggestions? I'd like to still have a scanner built into it.

I like my HP Photosmart 5520. I got it pretty much exclusively for photos and hybrid, though. If you're doing mostly B/W (or nearly so) documents, I wouldn't get HP as they have a rep for wasting color inks even on the black. For doing photos and hybrid, I love it. I have a laptop so I wanted something wireless, and I wanted to be able to replace the different inks independently. It does have a scanner too and it has worked well enough for me.

We have a Canon Pixma MX882. It's a wireless scanner/copier/fax/printer, and I've been really happy with the printing that it has done for Silhouette projects. We do have another printer that I use for things that I want to be really nice, but the MX882 is our everyday printer, and we have really liked it.

I have an hp 7500 that is also a multi-function printer and wireless. The beauty is I can print 12x12 paper since it is a wide format printer. However, for my photos - I am an Epson girl and print those on my other printer for that.

I have the Epson WF-7510 wide format, all in one, wireless printer. I love mine. Ive had it since March of last year and use it for all things... documents, photos, Silhouette projects, etc.

Hi, we are currently using Brother MFC-J470DW inkjet. This is an all in one multifunction printer. It is a printer, scanner and copier. We found it to be very usable. However, if you still prefer others , you can go online and see some suggestions for best wireless mutifunction printers. I think, they look good!

I have a Samsung color laser printer, that's also wireless, that I absolutely love! I'm never going back to ink jet.

I have a Canon Pixma MP280 and for how much I print its fine. I don't use it a whole lot because of ink prices here in NZ. If I printed everything at home I'd go through an entire black ink if not more in a week so I print either at uni or at an office supply shop.

Be careful with home printers that you're using archival papers and ink! My 2010 layouts are already fading and I don't have the actual file anymore- eeeek! So sad! It's expensive to print at home only to have them fade in less than 3 years.

I have encountered some all in one printers designed to help one print, scan, copy or fax . My family is actually using a brother printer at the moment but I'm also looking for another one here : The Best Portable Printers of 2016 You may want to check the details.

Oh, no! If you have access to a scanner, you might be able to make a digital copy then correct the colors. Then at least you won't lose them permanently if they keep fading.

I have this Epson printer. Though I don't print my scrapbook pages at home, it's a very good printer. And comes with a ton of ink.

I am a tremendous fan of my Canon Pixma iX6820, if you need wide format. Any of the Canon Pixma printers are awesome!
