Summer Games - July 3: Scattergories
Hello my sweet friends! I hope you are excited for another amazing set of summer challenges here at Sweet Shoppe! Every year, I'm totally blow away with the creativity of the ideas and how it all comes together to bring the best challenges your way! Today's challenge is inspired by the classic game of Scattergories!! Oh, man, I played this game a lot as a kid... I can not wait to see your take on this challenge! Are you ready? Here we go! Scattergories - everything on your page must begin with the same letter. Get creative and be sure to include your list of words when sharing your page. For example, background, blooms, butterflies and buttons OR papers, photos, paint and penguins OR snapshots, stitching, solids, sunshine. Dig out that thesaurus and have fun! We love how this challenge really pushes you to get creative and really dig through your Sweet Shoppe Designs stash and find different items/elements that begin with the same letter. Once I got started, I couldn't stop... lol!! Here is my example and I went with the letter F. Fireworks Font - Freedom Regular Title - Five Words that make up the title Firework elements Five photos Fourteen flowers Ferns (greenery) Flag Flair (blue flair with white star) Frames Felt board Fabric (red check) Flashes (sparkles) Flipflops Feather Fireflies Board Background Paper Brush (sand paint) Book (stacked papers/book) Beach photo Blue mat paper Board (surfboards) Branch (palm branches) Buttons Butterfly (from Live Life Wild by KCB) Binding (tape) Brads Blossoms Bow (from Sunset Soiree by Studio Basic) Bordered photo Banner (holiday banner) Beach Bum wordstrip Best Vacation Wordstrip Blue Skies word art Beach Sign Sparkles Stars Sprinkles Slide frame Sequins Shimmer flowers Scatters Starry paper Shrubbery Sphere shaped frame Streamer Sky brushes Sky picture Spectacular card Skies card Remember, there are NO SET DEADLINES for our daily challenges. YOU decide what you want to scrap, WHEN you want to scrap, and have the freedom to decide what prizes you want to earn or try to win. As long as you've met those requirements and updated our master tracker by September 2nd in the case of our grand prizes, or have this month's tracker updated by the end of July if you're trying to earn this month's 40% discount, you're golden! Most of our prizes will be awarded in early September, so YOU have the freedom to participate when you can without missing out on any of the fun this summer! Thank you so much for playing along! Hoping y'all are having a wonderful summer! Rebecca, aka Mamabee
