oh my goodness I can't think of anything scarier than the contents of my drawers being 'on show' My desktop might be tidy and organised but that is only because no one can see in the drawers LOL

That desk is awesome!!! Not liking the glass though either, my drawers are a disaster!!! I don't really traditional scrapbook anymore but I'd still love to have that desk.

That kind of desk would probably be good for me. When I put something in a drawer, I forget about it. Out of sight, out of mind.

You could get 2 bookshelves, and use baskets for the stuff. Then build the top to suit your needs.

Or do like I did with the modular units from the craft stores. I used lots of open ones for my paper, but you could use the ones with drawers instead.

I was just gonna post that I like the glass on Col's desk...think it would be easier to keep the area clean cause it's more like "shelve" and less like a drawer where I'd be tempted to just pitch stuff in there!!!

Yes Ma'am, it's the big shot express.
I wish I had known that Spellbinders was coming out with their Wizard. I'd love to be able to do big 8.5x11 size stuff!

Yes, that's what I meant, lol. Not the wizard, the grand calibur.
I *only* have Spellbinders at this point, that's why I wish I had known so I could wait for it. I had a cricut before the big shot, so I never got into the cuttlebug/sizzix stuff. I didn't want any of it until I found Spellbinders, which is when I sold the cricut and got the big shot express.

I love that desk. Once upon a time I had well over a doz of the craft cubes. But they don't hold up with tons and tons of moves. I love that desk but wouldn't think the glass would move well.

my biggest pet peeve with desks... i want one that is going to hide the stupid cords. I love so many desks i see on display but they are always with laptops. I have an imac so it has cords and i just don't want to have to see them hanging down.

Twist-tie them together and tape them to the back where you can't see them?

This or those velcro ties - and what used to be called a spool holder for those who sew, or essentially anything with spokes you can hook/wind the ties/cords onto. Attach the spool holder to the back of the desk firmly (screw it on), loop the ties, place your surge protector on top of the holder, and you cannot see the cords.

Can you see what I'm "saying"? can't move my desk right now, or i'd take a pic...
