Having surgery on my neck tomorrow morning. I have two herniated discs, one of them has been pressing on the nerve down my right arm causing PAIN, numbness, weak muscle, etc. for six weeks now.

The doctor is going to go in and remove the portion of the disc that is pressing on my nerves (I should tell him to look for my 4 YO son...he's "on my nerves" a lot, too...LOL )

anyhow, I really hope he gets in and out without causing any unintentional damage ...I'll be in the hospital one night then back home recovering.

Good luck. I have a herniated disk in my neck from a car accident and also a bulging disk. I have numbness and pain in my arm as well from it but it is sporadic. I guess I was lucky after trying many different procedures they did an epidural injection and it helped alot. The next step for me was also surgery. Ill keep you in my thoughts you find relief and it goes as planned!!
