Every morning. I know one is not supposed to, but I have this fine hair that looks horrible after one day, so I ended up with a daily routine. Actually, after all those years it really feels weird NOT doing it, if for some reason I choose so (like, before travelling and such).

On average, every other day. I'd prefer to go longer between, but with the curls, I just can't.

I had to wash it everyday when I was in the Navy cause I had to wear it back and pulled up and my hair does not do well pulled up dry. But now that I am home and don't have to go anywhere, I usually wash it every couple of days...

If I'm exercising daily, then I wash my hair every day. If I'm not exercising, then I wash my hair every other day.

Daily. I have fine hair also and it does not do well on the second day. I've always wished I had the type of hair that could look good being washed less often. :/

About every other day here too - although I have quite dry hair and it's curly so I can get away with just spritzing it to liven up the curls and go 3 days tops, but it will start to itch and drive me crazy usually. In the summer if I'm in the lake a lot I go a few days because it always gets rinsed out in the lake.

Before, when I was on BCP and not an oil factory, I did every other day.

Now, I have to do it every day. I hate it.
But on the plus side, I've always had realy healthy hair and even washing it every day doesn't seem to be too bad to it. Once a week I do a clarifying shampoo to it to clean it all out, which I'm rather liking.

Every 2-3 days, too.

Have you also noticed that your mood gets better when you wash your hair? Mine definitely.

Too much washing is supposed to speed up the "getting oily" process... Or is it that it's drying the hair out? Dunno really. Heard too much unwanted advice in this department. I don't care. I want to look nice, and if I don't wash my hair in the morning, I look like a wet mouse. :-)

I'm totally happy I'm not alone who washes her hair every morning! So far I haven't known ANYONE else. :-)

no, sometimes I'll use conditioner mid week, but really I hate how frizzy my hair is after a wash and I can't stand that dry feeling hair. I LOVE the soft silky feel of it after a few days of not washing. So, if I'm singing on Sunday I'll usually wash on Friday. The first time I did the no wash winter it was gross because my hair would get so oily, but my scalp is used to it now and so I'll never go back to washing it all the time. It's one of the reasons I hate the summer because I get so sweaty that I have to wash it more. If I workout, I just do a plain water rinse.

Every single shower. If I shower twice in a day, my hair gets washed twice that day. My Mom goes a couple days between washing her hair and it honestly creeps me out. I didn't know this was a normal thing.

Every other or third day. I have a massive amount of long hair and it takes a whole day for it to dry naturally. It doesn't get oily in between washings.

Every other day unless I work out or tan on the off day. And by the end of day 2 my hair is disgusting. It's so fine it doesn't take much to grease it up.

I wash mine every day. I have to as it gets too greasy. And I look like a hedgehog when I wake up in the mornings as I spend my whole night turning over and over in bed so I look like I have been well and truly pulled through a hedge backwards I always have to condition it too or I can't get the brush through it. Then I dry it and straighten it and I really wish I could wash it once a week

I have to wash mine every time. I hate it, I wish I didn't have to. On the weekends I might let it go a day, but when I do it gets super oily and I look totally gross.

Every day, always have.....how do you guys NOT wash your hair? Do you wear shower caps? Just curious LOL. Anyway, when I work out I don't have a choice. When I don't work out, I still wash my hair every day, IDK, just b/c I do. But, I did buy some Suave Dry Shampoo (it was only 3 bucks) recently to try out if I ever get the chance.

The whole works (meaning shampoo, conditioner, and styling products) every 3 days. I have superfine curly hair, and it gets extremely dry and frizzy if I do it more often.

1-2 times more per week I wet it in the shower and use a little conditioning curl cream. If I need to, I spritz with water on other days.

I just don't stick my whole head under. When I wash my back I move my hair to the front. The bottom ends usually get damp, but that's it.

I've just recently started going 2-3 days without washing and it feels awesome! I've also quit using any real product in my hair. Just shampoo, conditioner and let it dry naturally. Absolutely amazing how much better my hair looks and feels.

I have to wash my hair everyday...my father passed on the lovely trait of having greasy hair so if I don't wash it daily it looks (and feels) nasty. I really wish I could wash it every other day or even at night but it just doesn't work for me....so I'm jealous of you ladies!!

I'm with Heather on this. My hair is sooooo dry naturally that in winter it becomes worse I used to wash it every other day, but it was like the broom, it was so nasty
It's now better after less wash.

When it was long, I had to wash it every day. It was fine, thin and got stringy.

Now that it's short, I go every other day, mostly to preserve the colour I have in it. If it wasn't coloured, I'd wash it every day.

if mine were longer, i'd wash every day probably. i usually wash it in the shower and i'll take a bath on the off day i don't wash it. with it being as short as it is, it usually looks better the day after. lol

funny you should ask this. i was going to post the other day about dry shampoo and didnt'. i just recently switched to using dry shampoo on the 2nd day bc my hair is soo dry and brittle and even with deep conditioning it was drying out with everyday shampooing. so now i wash with shampoo and water (the whole works conditioner) every other day. dry shampoo on the day that i don't wash and it is awesome. much much better my hair also gets oily but the dry shampoo i have has taken care of that.

One of the things about washing your hair every day is that you're causing your hair follicles/glands to go into overdrive with oil production, and could be causing your hair to get even oilier than if you gave it some time to get back into balance by going a few days without washing. I will rinse mine out in the shower, but I don't always use shampoo if that makes sense.

When I was at High School, it was okay for me to wash hair once a week. Then it continued to grease more and more... during University it was twice a week, now I wash them every second day - Sunday evening, Tuesday evening, Thursday evening.

When I had flu this year, I did not wash my hair for a week, argh, it was disgusting, but it did not help...

Recently I switched to bio hair cosmetics and I am very happy with it... I use either pure lavander or pure marigold shampoo and I am so happy with it...

I wash my hair-Monday-Wednesday & Friday, if I'm not doing anything on the weekend.
If I have something special to do on the weekend I will wash it, but normally I just pull it up all weekend!

LOL, then my scalp was going into superdrive in Junior High with the oil production when I didn't wash it every day! Also, bad skin scalp problems resulted. I haven't wanted to risk having that happen again since then. Rinsing with water doesn't help, either, unfortunately.

Mine gets rinsed every single time I shower, but only washed once a week or so. I have super curly hair and it actually looks best 2-6 days after shampooing. I just add a little bit of leave in conditioner and product after rinsing each day(teensy amounts) and wash it only as needed. In the sumemr I actually wash it a lot more because we basically live at the pool, and if I don't wash it after we go to the pool, my hair dries out so bad from the chlorine.
