Who all is excited? Rumors have it they are announcing the new iPhone today. I have the 4 and it has a crack in the back.

I'm super excited for an upgrade.

Thoughts? I am trying to decide if I'm going to upgrade my 16g 4s to a newer iPhone or if I'm going to go ahead and get an Android. I have been pretty happy with my 2012 Nexus 7 tablet and think it stands up in comparison to the iPad pretty well. (My only complaint is the lack of note taking apps with good handwriting fidelity.)

But I don't need the same thing out of my phone that I do out of my tablet. And I will really need to see how the 5c compares to the Android phones. Also how well that plastic case stands up. I would have to have 32g but don't really want to spend more than $199.

So bummed I missed this press conference. I love Apple's announcements! I'm such a nerd. But, I had to help at preschool today, so. . . .

Anyway, I won't be getting a new phone this time around since we got 5s last year. But, I'm super excited for the new iOS, and I'm really looking forward to OSX Mavericks, too.

I got 5 too, so won't be upgrading it. Just thinking that when I'm ready for upgrade, they'll be out with another upgrade!

I'm looking forward to iOS 7, but missed the date it's being released. Does anyone know?

Me too! I'm more excited about OSX than the iPhone.

I have the 4S and am eligible for an upgrade so even though I'm not wowed by the new one, I'll probably upgrade before too long.

My hubby found something that said Friday Sept. 18th. But, since the 18th isn't a Friday, we're thinking it's going to be Wednesday, the 18th. Don't quote me, though.

I'm still geeking out over the idea of Finder Tabs. I've been wanting that for a long time. And I'm really liking the UI changes they made, too. The "pretty" factor totally matters to me.

I didn't want to wait for the tabs so I found a free app that added them now. They're awesome! The one I have is called Xtra Finder.

I'm excited for tagging finally being added!

iOS7 is wednesday the 18th, 5S release is Friday the 20th, 5C preorder is Friday the 13th.

I have the 5 and will be sticking with it. Nothing really impressed me with the announcement about the 5S and 5C.. I was actually kind of sad I took time to watch ..lol! IOS 7 is the only thing I am anxious about.

I have a 4s and want to upgrade to the 5s due to the better camera... but I'm hoping DH doesnt' feel the need to upgrade. He also has a 4s but he does not use the internet except to check sports scores and he uses his Kindle Fire to play games. I need him to keep the 4s because when he upgrades, we have to change our family plan. Any of the rest of us can upgrade and not change the plan but once he upgrades, we're looking at a lot more money per month and I'd like to avoid that if possible. I'm hoping since he doesn't use his for anything other than a phone, he'll be OK with it. However, he gets crazy jealous if I have better technology than him. Even if he doesn't use it.

No doubt. My hubby was texting me bits and pieces from the conference the whole time was at the school. My phone was buzzing in my pocket all morning. Lol.

I am due for an upgrade and was waiting for the new announcement. I will get it. I like the upgrades compared to the 4S. I didn't see enough upgrade for the 4S to 5, but the 4S to 5S, yes. I like the new colors, too. I want one of those.

Now to decide how much space I need. I got the 16gb last time, but I am full now, but it's been 2 years of use and I haven't deleted any pictures which take up the majority of the space.

I'm going to get the 16gb 5s... like in a month after all the craziness settles down. I'm pretty excited about the better camera and the motion censor thing. I've been wanting a fitbit and I'd be interested in seeing if this can make the phone like one?

Also, the fingerprint thing is quite interesting. At first, I was like meh, but I'm pretty horrible at remembering passwords.

All in all, I'm pretty happy.
