Game of Thrones fans...
SPOILERS - BOOK AND TV SERIES
How are you feeling about the changes in season 5 from the book? Mostly Jamie going to Dorne and Littlefinger giving Sansa to Ramsey Snow??? I don't know, I think I like the change but I feel like how much can they change it from the source material until it's just not even based on the books anymore and more inspired by. I loved Jon's scenes last night though. He may be a bastard but he's Ned Stark's bastard lol

I so wish Jon would have left the wall and gone back to be a "Stark!" I definitely don't like Sansa marrying that lunatic. I think the two of them need to find a way to take back Winterfell. I guess it's hard for them to follow the books if the author won't finish writing the next book. It's been so long since I read them, but I remember having lots of unanswered questions after reading them all. Maybe this new twist will be better...

I didn't read the books, but I think I'm comfortable with a little artistic license if it keeps the series going even if the author stops coming up with new material. (That's how I felt about True Blood, too. It eventually got stupid, but I enjoyed some of my favorite characters sticking around.)

It's been so long since I read the books, that I don't always pick up on the differences. For some reason, I thought she was supposed to marry him in the book, but then her handmaiden stood in for her?? I'm ok with the show deviating from the books because it keeps it interesting and less predictable. I just wouldn't want them to go off on such a tangent it loses it's original spirit.
Krystal, I totally agree about True Blood ... it became so stupid ... but I still kept watching until the bitter end, lol.

I have a theory that John isn't Ned's kid.... That he's Ned's sister's kid with (i can't remember names now argh!) Dany's oldest brother, from when he "kidnapped" Ned's sister.
And yes, in the book, Sansa was supposed to be married to Ramsey, but they didn't actually have Sansa. They found the handmaiden who said she was sansa and married her to Ramsey instead.
