Computer Help?
Does anyone know why these aren't in alphabetical order or how to get them in alphabetical order? This just started happening this week and it's driving me batty. I'm downloading things now and I don't know where they are because they aren't showing up in alphabetical but random. It makes no sense to me.
I've looked at Google. I can't seem to find my answer. So I was hoping maybe someone here knew, before I called my father and got a lecture about not knowing how to do something on my computer It's a PC - Windows 10 Last edited by Neverland Scraps; 05-02-2020 at 02:34 AM. |

Is it a MAC? If so I'm not help. If PC, right click and sort by name.

If it's any consolation, my MAC has been doing the same thing for the past few weeks... No idea why or how to fix it, just commiseration. In terms of figuring out what came where, try ordering it by date modified, it should at least get things sorted, even if it's not alphabetical

I found "sort" and got them in alphabetical order. But now they are showing them in alphabetical, in groups, but not in order. If that makes sense? I can play around with the settings, get them a-z in three groups. But the moment I close it out and reopen it, it's however it wants to display. I might have to call my father tomorrow Last edited by Neverland Scraps; 05-02-2020 at 02:41 AM. |

Hmmm just right click somewhere in the folder, not on a folder just blank space.
Then go to sort by>name. Not sure how it's doing it in folders though, I can't even see an option to do that? Perhaps you hit group by? Maybe see if you can fix it by right click>group by>(none) Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk |

I have the same problem occasionally, but usually if I close the download folder/window and reopen it they alphabetize themselves. Windows 10 drives me nuts sometimes.
