There's a BABY in there!!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! You guys. I'm just giddy. Had my 1st prenatal appt this afternoon, and it went super well. I was so afraid going into today, but I couldn't have asked for a more perfect visit. The dr was quick to ease all my fears and worries and said that everything looks just super.
According to the ultrasound I'm 9w2d pregnant with a due date of Feb 19 (I wasn't too far off as I was guessing 10 weeks). The ultrasound was fabulous. At just 9 weeks, you could see little Dingbang (our pet name for him/her) just having a blast in there. We could see the little hands even! Everything looked really good. I explained that i was concerned because I'd JUST had surgery in April, and this procedure can affect future pregnancies. The dr was really reassuring, and in fact he told us that it's highly unusual to get pregnant so soon after the LEEP -- something about the mucus membranes. He said he was impressed! LOL When you couple that with the fact that I was on the pill, this baby is absolutely a miracle. Anyway, thank you all for your support and prayers. Your doctor sounds awesome.
Yay for ultrasounds. Isn't it so cool seeing your baby for the first time? To think that they started off that small.

Not to overshare but my newborn Elijah was conceived when a condom broke on day 9 of my cycle. He was very much meant to be and it appears that dingbang is as well.

I am just amazed. Seriously sitting here with tears in my eyes at the miracle you are carrying. I love it when God just makes His plans to bless our lives no matter how much we try to get in the way. He is good all the time and all the time He is good!!!!
