Update on my FIL

He's home and sleeping in his own bed tonight!

The arteries in his neck are fine but they have found out that he has high cholesterol...the hereditary kind. He'll be on blood thinners and cholesterol meds for the rest of his life, but at least he'll have a life and for that we are all so grateful.

They think that he had thickened blood that caused his issues yesterday but other than that he appears to be in perfect health.

So, thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers...they worked!
