Default Most hated household chore?

As I'm folding my 9 billionth load of laundry this week (just kidding, I've put it off all week), I am thinking about how much I *hate* folding it.
It's the most dreaded chore I have. I'd seriously rather do the dishes and clean toilets over folding the laundry.

What chore do you hate?

I'd rather fold it than put it away.

I HATE cleaning bathrooms. *I* don't pee on the floor, why do *I* have to clean it up?

Bathrooms.......I got the same feelings as Traci.

My second is dusting. I don't know why. It isn't a "hard" chore but I manage to put that one on the back burner for as long as possible. LOL

Cooking for all my picky eaters. I seriously hate having to worry about dinner every night. And I know that's not a chore for most of you.

I'd rather clean toilets, and I live with 5 males. :P

This. I wash ALL the clothes, and put away mine and Rachel's, as well as the towels and dishclothes. DH asked me once why I didn't put his away...told him for the same reason he didn't...I don't want to.

I also hate mopping because if I really want it clean enough for my tastes, I have to get on the floor and scrub. Our mop just doesn't cut it.

I don't even need to think about that one. Dusting/hovering!

Oh, and I actually like folding laundry best of all chores. But might change once it's not just me and BF.

The dishes. I havne't had a dishwasher in 5.5 years and I am so sick of washing by hand! I hate them, thus I always end up with a huge amount of dishes to do cause I keep putting them off.

I hate folding + putting away laundry. I especially hate folding + putting away laundry when DH has done a load 'to be helpful' and considers it 'hung up' when he drapes his and my work shirts over the dryer because he is convinced that's just as good as a hanger and keeps them from getting wrinkly.

[It isn't.]

I hate doing the dishes. I especially hate doing the dishes when DH unloads a bunch of used coffee cups and/or oatmeal bowls from his car or some other part of the house and they are impossible to rinse out so I have to handwash them.

[He allows the dog to lick the plates/bowls clean after a meal and has since before we met, so he has his own plates/bowls/silverware that I and my daughter do not use. Shudder.]

Laundry... the whole process of it. The neverending-ness. DH changed the kids clothes 3 times this weekend and I started freaking out! LOL. NO MORE DIRTY CLOTHES. Seriously, I am *this* close to letting them hang out around the house pantless or shirtless since they seem to prefer it and I would have a lot less laundry.

Bathrooms are ok.
I think probably dishes.
My house is a pig stye right now...I've been so busy, so any part of it right now I hate. I'm going to tackle part of it tomorrow morning, and the rest on Sunday.

DISHES! I'd rather do anything than dishes. I'd much rather have a filling or a crown done at the dentist than do the dishes.

Ooh, I hate cooking too. Seriously. My family isn't even picky and I hate it. I'm just not a foodie. I hate the prep work, I hate the heat (I always manage to burn myself at some point during preparing the meal) and I hate cleaning up after (thus the dishes being the biggest of my dreaded chores!)

This! Its been almost 4 years for us without a dishwasher. We had one at the last house and that was the ONLY time I had ever had one. We lived there almost 3 years and I got pretty spoiled to using a dishwasher. We DO have a place to install one in this house and it is on the list. I told DH I want a dishwasher and a new countertop for Christmas. I tend to put the dishes off quite a bit too, I especially hate washing pots and pans and other big pieces... and silverware. Oh my gosh, I hate washing silverware and other utensils! I use this big jug like container and fill it with hot soapy water and throw everything in there to soak. That helps, but gosh, I hate washing dishes!

Like Brook said, the whole process of doing laundry. Sorting, washing, drying (especially if I have to put it out on the line) then folding and putting away. Once it's all done, it has to start all over again!

That and cooking. I loathe it!

Anything that happens in the kitchen. Between the dishes, cooking for picky eaters, getting the kids snacks, and sweeping under the table, it just never ends. I swear I spend hours and hours a day working in the kitchen, so nothing else gets done. It isn't even that I hate the jobs themselves, just the drain on my time and the fact that an hour after I finish I have to start all over again.

Food icks my husband out too. I mean, he can cook okay but leave something on a dish or, God forbid, it fall in to the sink and he gets grossed out. He'll stand there trying to fish out whatever it is with a spoon instead of just picking it up and throwing it out.

This was my mom's least favorite, too. So before I was even old enough to drive, she would drop me off at the grocery store with a list and a blank check (and told me how much it should be around) and pick me up an hour later. It actually really helped me learn to feed a family on a budget and learn how to bargain shop at a young age.

My grandma (she raised me) would send me to the store with a neighbor who was going to do her own shopping. She'd send a list and a check and I'd do all the shopping. This started when I was about 14. I definitely learned a lot!

We finally have a dish washer after years without so the dishes are not that bad. And we now have nice new washer dryer so laundry isn't that bad.

I think mine would be mopping... my back doesn't like it much. :/

I'm weird, but I don't mind cleaning. It makes me feel good and...clean. I kind of thrive on cleanliness.

Maybe trash. But it's not my job. Or maybe that's why it's not my job. It's my hubby's and I'll just keep letting him do that.

I don't like cleaning piles of clutter. It seems like after I do it, it starts over again.

All of it! Seriously, I hate even thinking about cleaning, lol. It doesn't help that my house is sooooo bad right now. I would probably say laundry though. I have a habit of letting it build up and then it overwhelms me. I also hate putting stuff away - like laundry or groceries

Wouldn't you know it, I had to go have a crown done today without even getting out of doing the dishes! LOL One of my crowns fell off at 2:30 this morning.

I tend to let mine build up too and then it gets to the point where there isn't a chore I don't mind because each is such a monumental task. My house is actually decent right now but only because I've been working on it the past two weeks. My big problem is I get caught up and then I get sick for some reason and when I'm sick I don't clean and everything gets awful again.

I hate putting stuff away too... I put the cold stuff away when the groceries come in and let the rest sit in bags much longer than I should. I manage to get everything put away before I go to bed but I often fumble through those grocery bags for dinner items. LOL I just dread putting stuff away... and laundry, oh my. Mine isn't bad but the kids'... awful! I hate putting theirs away. DD is 10 now and we've decided she is going to be responsible for washing her own laundry as well as folding and putting away. That just leaves me DS's mess.
