Default I need a new technique

Show me your favorite new technique for your pages. I haven't scrapped in ages, haven't taken a photo in even longer and really need some inspiration to get me to WANT to scrap again (work load, home school load, family load have all drained my desire this year).

So - show me whatcha got!

I'm really liking adding my own special done by me touches, Like doodle words, scribbles, or the circles and lines on here. I feel like they give the pages a more me touch.

Have you tried Project Life? I'm just thinking it might help you get your scrapping mojo back because it frees up the need to think about layout or anything like that. I don't do PL but I have used the style of scrapping at times. These templates by Julie are great and I love them when I'm stuck or just need to get something scrapped rather quickly:

Misty's are great, too. I love that I can add so much journaling and it reads like a magazine layout because it's not a single huge block of journaling:

Mine has to do mostly with blend modes and clipping masks. Like clipping a paper to a mask and then applying a blend mode. Or doing a layer mask on a photo and blending it into the paper, that sorta thing

play with paint without getting your hands dirty, and pull out some stamps and clip papers to it! So fun and versatile!

Go B&W with a big photo and enjoy the words on the page, play with them and laugh!

I love the top and bottom layouts. I've also been trying out the large photograph technique. Using a pic as your base background.

I really enjoyed doing this photo mask technique here especially since the photo itself wasn't very interesting, but I felt 'necessary' since I was talking abt being outside/almost Spring:

I was thinking the same thing last time I scrapped. and I decided that, the next time, I'd lift something from my scrap therapy board. You could try too!

and I'll try, for sure, some page using that "brush everything" style. LOVE that! but I think it's too cool for me.

I find going through galleries for ideas, scraplifting and doing challenges can help. :-)
