RQOTD - How did you come up with your SSD username?

I'm curious as to how you came up with your username

I was originally on a paper sb board with my mum and her username was kiwicanuck as she was born in Canada but lives in NZ and since I'm her daughter I thought a neat username would be littlekiwi since I was born in New Zealand.

Hi Jennifer. I once started a thread on this, it's located here if you're interested.

At that time I was still Helen Vader though. I decided to change it because I've used that one for ages and it's pretty easily traceable. Since I sometimes write on personal matters here, I didn't want anyone to stumble upon my posts by incident. So I chose my real first name. Adriana seemed too generic, so I chose the diminutive form (Adrianka), I'm kind of used to it to use it this way online (so theoretically it's traceable too, but at least it's not as notorious or unique as Helen Vader), and lots of people call me like that in RL anyway.

I didn't have a clue what to call myself when I signed up here (this was the first forum I had ever registered at) and I saw other's use mama... and my name is Rebecca, sometimes go by Becky... so that is where the "bee" comes from... it's also because I'm the "queenbee" of the family... I really wish I had a better user name...

mine's pretty obvious!! Unfortunately it's quite out of date since I'm added a few more munchkins!!!

However before I because mummytothree I always used my first initial, middle initial and last name (at places like iVillage and another baby board I was a member at)....for like 3 or 4 years. But then I came to realize it probably wasn't wise so when I stumbled upon the scrapping scene I "reinvented" myself.

When I found my first online community {TwoPeas}, I didn't have kids, just a husband. And since I have a need to identify myself only according to my relationships to other people, I went with defining myself as a wife. ; ) I've often thought I should change my username since joel is so anti-scrapping, but I'm just too lazy.

I've used this name since AOL when usernames could only be 7 letters.. hence the odd abbreviation. KS - Kansas, cwgirl = cowgirl

I went to Texas A&M hence the aggie part. My husband also went to A&M and it is where we got married. Since aggiemommy was taken at the first site (nondigi) I registered at I choose aggiefamily. I think this might be the only site where I still have this name. Most other sites I use some form of amanda heimann.

My first time coming up with a user name was at Ebay. Heidi was taken along with other versions, so I put my fav activity ... scrap ... with my fav color ... purple ... and wala! scrappurple.

Mine's simple, it's how I'm known in the digi-world for my designs- Rachaels Scraps (and I never put the apostrophe in there, even though I know it should be "Rachael's". I just didn't want to put it in there, lol.) For my username at digi-sites, I just mush it all together, all grammatically inncorrect because I just want it that way

I'm Sandy Pierce, shortened to SandyPie, don't know why exactly I chose it at the first forum I signed up at it was the best I could come up with and now it's stuck cause I use it everywhere in digiland.

I use the same name all around digiland in French and English.

Dh calls me Nanie (short for Stephanie) or Namou (which is kinda like love but a little deformed). I just put both of them together.

Mine is from my business license and blog. I used to use ethnicity... back in my digichick days because that was an old business and email. Geez... I'm so uncreative.

My name is Tara and growing up I had a couple of nicknames. Taracotta (as in terracotta the clay) was always one of my favorites. Then I just added 7 because that is my favorite number.

This was the first forum that I joined. I tried Robinski( a family nick name for me) but it was taken.... and the person has yet to really post... oh well...

Mine is kind of dumb, but it was a song I had heard that day and so instead of Dreamin', I used "Dreamer" Now, I kind of feel stuck with it... sigh....
