Default bye bye bye..

sooo spring is here and that is meaning i'm in the mood to get rid of a LOT of stuff in my house. I've kept things over the years that I"m finally realizing I have no use for and am taking them to the trash.

The biggest thing is probably hoarding magazines from soooo long ago. I never look at them but I've always thought.. one day years and years from now i'd want them to look back on. but.. no more. good riddance I say!

Anyone else feeling the need to clean out their house?

Absolutely! I love to clean and get rid of clutter, but I have a hard time getting rid of magazines. Especially the ones that I've tagged with good ideas or inspirational pics. Good luck to you as you spring clean!

I've been cleaning up my digi stash for the last few days. I'm almost done, and I've recovered a lot of disc space.

I hardly ever feel the urge to clean my house.

For some reason, I want to paint a room or something. Don't care which, just want to make some changes...

My bedroom needs some help...it seems to be the "go-to" place for junk. The door is always closed. I just need a bigger house. LOL!

I have a never ending TO DO list around the house. Most of my things are updates, DIY etc. I love to get rid of stuff, get things organized etc. My girls' rooms really need to be tackled but the prospect is daunting. One is a supreme slob and they both have pack rat tendencies.

Oh man. I've been cleaning & organizing like crazy for months! I will share a few of my projects.

Last week, I took everything out of my bathroom cabinets, threw old stuff I was never going to use away and put it back. I now have an entire cabinet free because everything is organized. Oh and I got this pretty to organize my makeup:

My husband lived in this house before we were married and there were several areas that I'd never gone through and decluttered. I did this back in March:

I plan on redoing the floors and putting in hard woods this summer, so my current project is emptying the guest room (future baby room) and throwing out all the junk in there. I have a handy man coming in a few weeks to redo the texture and light fixtures. Then I have to paint and start putting in the floors.

Organizing is making my heart soar lately. It's weird. lol.

Hahaha this! Though I do have the urge to clean my house daily, it's pointless with little kids home all day.

Our bedroom is the go-to area like Carrie. Drives me bonkers!

Totally thought to myself yesterday "I'm going to make a list and tackle some of the clean out projects I've been thinking of doing". LOL... I have to make a list first But yes, I've suddenly felt the need to clean!

My house is SO super clean and de-cluttered right now... it's almost inhumanly clean (is there such a thing?)! It's on the market and I have to clean it, like, 5 times a day for showings. Can't wait to have my 'normal' house back.

I've been tackling small projects a few at a time since January. Cleaning out the cupboard under the stairs took me a whole week, but it's awesome now. I've even done my closet. Our room is the throw it in there and shut the door room in our house. It's going to be that way for awhile - My husband handed over a nice chunk of money for me to do some decorating/updating with. I'm just starting to pick out what I want to do. So now I've shifted my focus to decorate and will organize as I move through the house.

Marla - I love your see through makeup organizers! Those are awesome!

I always feel the need to clean my house. Always. I can't stand clutter and I hate having a house full of stuff we don't use or enjoy.

Yes, and that is why we're having a massive garage sale this weekend! Feels so good to get rid of stuff and declutter. Once our basement is done...then I go nuts with organization!

I just had a stall at a baby/kids market on the weekend to get rid of clothes, books, toys and other bits and pieces that we no longer need - I sold heaps and what didn't sell I bagged up and donated to charity. Its amazing how tidy the house looks now (in certain areas - there's plenty of junk in other areas still), but at the same time I felt a bit sad seeing all that stuff go... the end of that chapter of our lives.... Then I went clothes shopping for myself - which I rarely ever do - to cheer myself up (and clutter up my cupboard some more!).

I've been de-crapifying our house since New Years at least. It feels soooo good to get rid of stuff...sad to say there's still more to go.

Our house is a clutter-y mess. I want to move just so I am forced to throw away like half our stuff. lol The basement and my bedroom is the worst. It is where we put everything we don't need right now, but might eventually need. I keep threatening to rent a dumpster and spend a whole weekend just cleaning everything out of our house.

I love decluttering! I have a lot that needs to be done right now too! Just no time to do it...I need to start doing like one cabinet a day, or something.

I'm literally moving in like two weeks, and every time I go in a closet, the pantry, etc. I think about all the things I'm going to toss so I don't have to move it!! Lol. I did have a garage sale already so it's all fair game at this point

Not my house -- which is a horrifying mess -- but I'm moving classrooms for next year and I'm ruthlessly throwing away anything in my way. I'm tired of moving a bunch of handouts from inservices, etc. Excited about a new classroom!
