What to do on bedrest (other than scrap)?
Looks like tomorrow the doctor may be putting me on bedrest.
If so..... what should I do? I was on temporary bedrest this afternoon and evening, and I'm already bored out of my mind. I have no scrapping mojo, so I don't even want to think about that. All of the websites I see say to do something with my partner, but, considering I no longer have one... I'm stuck

I would read and do logic puzzles. Other ideas; meal planning, other crafting (knitting, cross stitch), write thank-you notes for any baby gifts ...
Take care of yourself! |

How about writing a Baby Journal? How you're feeling, what you're thinking, what you're looking forward to, what you wish for your child, etc. I look back on the one I started when I was pregnant, and I'm so glad I did it now. Totally forgot most of the things I wrote in there. LOL.
You could organise your scrap supplies. Back them up if not already done. Design your baby announcement card, ready for when he/she arrives. Get your thankyou cards ready. Learn to crochet or knit Do the swagbucks thing and earn a GC

I would read and sleep! Watch all my favourite DVDs or tv shows. Sleep. I would plan out and start to write the novel I've always wanted to write. Invite some girlfriends over for a bed picnic (my friends actually did this with me once when I was bed ridden- was great). Maybe create some quick pages for when your bub arrives. Sleep. Lol
Sorry to hear your having problems. Hopefully the doc has good news, 20 weeks would be a long time to be bed ridden

Become a Twitterholic. It certainly sucks up a lot of time for me!
Create your online baby registry at Target, Wal-Mart, etc. It's always fun to browse, even if so much of it really is unnecessary. If you haven't already, join some survey sites - there are tons out there that pay you for a few minutes of your time. SurveySpot, Harris Poll, Synovate, InboxDollars, E-Rewards - and some do product testing. I've gotten so many cool freebies to test out - so fun & easy!

When I was on bed rest it was my pre-digi days... so I watched a lot of tv and movies... and SLEEP! I was alone most of the day with hubby at work and my mom would come through the day to make sure I ate.
I also was working on my procedures so someone could do my job before I left... which in turn stressed me out and put me into early labor... this I do not recommend doing...

I was on bedrest with my last three pregnancies from 28 weeks until I delivered at 36, 36 and almost 38 weeks. I worked on their baby albums....so when they arrived all I had to do was put in their pictures, add their info, etc.......I had the main pages of Derek done...birth, stats, coming home, visitors, gifts, etc.....and also had some monthly milestone pages done. I will do a set of these for each month and take a picture of Derek each Monday (52 weeks of his life!!) I worked ahead on these and that helped a lot b/c things were crazy when he arrived!!
I watched a lot of TV, talked on the phone, slept and scrapped!!!! Good luck to you! Being on bed rest sucked!!

I just got off bedrest, and it is SOOOO boring sometimes!! I was on bedrest 6 of the 9 months for this pregnancy. Some reading, some TV, mostly surfing the web and staring at the ceiling. Good luck sweetie! ♥

I was on bed rest with both my pregnancies. I watched TV, read, slept, nothing exciting. I didn't digital scrap so I couldn't do it since I had to actually lie down. it was boring, I won't lie. But I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

I watched a lot of movies and tv and surfed the web a lot. I just remember how sore I got from laying around all day. That was a side effect I had never thought of. lol
